Even back in Kamiko's era they'd talk about wanting to do this or that together, but they probably never actually pulled off a full-group outing — so Takeuchi being gone does seem like a big deal.
If anything, Takeuchi hangs out with the OGs (graduated members) all the time.

Ise and the others go all the way back to when they were just singing and dancing together with no titles attached — so why does it feel like there's this distance now?
It honestly seems like Ise wants to get close, but everyone else is putting up a wall.
I don't think Ise's forgotten Kamiko's parting words though.

I think that's because before becoming leader, Ise didn't really interact much with the younger members. There aren't many stories of Ise joining practice with each of them back when they were rookies.
