The story
On the Hulu-exclusive documentary series “Juice=Juice Summer Camp in Korea,” member Nia reportedly collapsed from poor health on the final day of a Korean training camp aimed at perfecting a new dance routine — and the news became a hot topic on a 5ch thread. Another post claimed that other members had also spent half a day resting at the hotel. Opinions on the thread were split: some worried about the grueling schedule of 4–5 hours of daily dance practice packed into the same day as sightseeing and dining shoots, while others praised the show for topping Hulu’s documentary category. Meanwhile, a string of posts questioning the group’s actual popularity — insisting “nobody’s even watching” — added to the back-and-forth.

There's no way the script would be that brutal lol
If anything, Risachi did amazing to hold up that long.
Apparently she overslept badly that day, so she forgot to put her contacts in even though they had morning sightseeing in Korea.
They do 4 to 5 hours of dancing and then go straight into filming sightseeing and meals.

Way too unpopular.
It's #1 in Hulu's documentary category though lol
They could've done all kinds of other things in this timeframe.
Isn't this "all kinds of things" though?
but it never gets any traction at all.
Nobody cares about "Juice" (derisive shorthand for Juice=Juice) anymore anyway.
No one's watching this.
#1 in the documentary category though 🥇

Just do your hard work behind the scenes, not out in the open.
Snow Man's Raul is #3, you know
They'd been wanting to go abroad, and everyone loves K-pop.
They probably put out a special like this specifically because they're confident it won't come across as cheap exploitation.
That's Hello! Project for you.
She's been powering through this year's brutal schedule just fine, so it's actually been a while since she last got sick like this.
Mippuru skipped the horumon-yaki (grilled offal) place on day one, and that's exactly what proper health management looks like.
Once Nia-chan has another year of experience under her belt, she'll probably be able to speak up herself and say "I'm tired, let me skip this dance training trip."
It's easy to forget given how big the projects she's working on are, but at the time of the Korea trip Nia-chan still had less than a year of experience — so of course she's still a bit rough around the edges.
They probably sniffed out the money in getting Juice=Juice fans to subscribe and made the offer.
And if it's been #1 in the documentary category this whole time, then as a business move it's already a huge success.
Background and Key Points
This show is a Hulu-exclusive documentary chronicling Juice=Juice’s training camp in Korea as they worked to perfect the dance for their new song “Karei Naru Revenger” (“Gorgeous Revenger”). According to the thread, Nia is a new member with less than a year of experience, and the packed schedule — 4 to 5 hours of dance practice a day layered with sightseeing and dining shoots — is cited as the likely cause behind her collapse. The thread was split between those who saw the grueling training in a positive light and others who suspected the incident may have been exaggerated for the sake of the show’s narrative; the latter view is excluded from this article due to lack of supporting evidence. Additionally, both the taunt that “nobody’s watching” and the claim that the show is “#1 in the documentary category” are unverified hearsay from the thread, and actual viewership data could not be confirmed.
