What people said
Nah, we're not really in that kind of era anymore, so who knows
But the agency involved in that has weakened and just got shot down this time, so I think it's the sexual-harassment/power-harassment old guy who's gonna be the one to disappear
Pretty sure it's THIS side that's been holding back!
lol
Bet he's genuinely bitter about it
glad the vibe between them seems good
That underbite screams Takitarou, as always lol (Takitarou = the famous salmon mascot with the huge jutting jaw)
Can't believe something like that actually sold lol
Amachan's popularity is still a mystery to me lol
If Babaa (the grandma character) turned out to be the surprise guest,
I might ascend to heaven on the spot
Would be great if they brought on Ai Hashimoto and Jiro Sato as guests on "Happy Kanako's Killer Life," playing the client and the target.
"It's truly a small effort, but…" — Yosuke Kubozuka and others also send encouragement

The official Instagram for the "Kumamoto Recovery Film Festival," to be held October 9–11 in Kumamoto Prefecture, was updated on the 28th to reveal that actress Ai Hashimoto (30), a Kumamoto native, had sent relief supplies and donations.
Actors Tadanobu Asano (52) and Yosuke Kubozuka (47), among others, also sent messages of encouragement.
Hashimoto, worried about the severe heat hitting the prefecture, said:
"I know it's truly a small gesture, but based on information from people who know the situation on the ground,
I sent as many supplies as I could — drinks and food, sanitary items like menstrual products and diapers,
clothing and heatstroke-prevention gear, inflatable mattresses, and more."
"I also donated relief funds to each of the affected cities.
It's truly a small effort, but I hope it can help even a little in bringing back
everyone's daily life and peace of mind."

Looks like some kind of yokai that pops out in a dirt-floor entryway
Ai Hashimoto's also appeared in Non-led films like "Hold Me Back" and "A Hotel Worthy of Me," so I figure they've stayed on good terms after all
Background and Talking Points
“Amachan” was NHK’s first-half morning drama (asadora) for 2013, and it became a hit thanks to the banter between Non’s character Aki and Ai Hashimoto’s character Yui, along with the show’s fictional idol group “GMT47.” With Hashimoto invited to perform at a concert in Kuji, Iwate Prefecture — the real-life model for the show’s fictional town of Kitasanriku — the two are now reuniting to sing together 13 years after the broadcast. Comments on the thread were largely welcoming of the announcement, though the discussion occasionally drifted into unverified rumors about the co-stars and those involved, political labeling, and remarks bordering on appearance-based insults. This article does not include such unverified claims or posts amounting to personal attacks.
