The story
A TikTok video posted by ANGERME, a Hello! Project group, suddenly became unviewable just as it was starting to go viral — sparking discussion on 5ch’s Hello! Project board. Thread posters offered testimony that the comment section had been flooded with sexual content, speculated that TikTok’s AI moderation may have taken it down, or that the agency itself may have quietly made it private, though no one could pin down the actual cause. Some also compared it to Juice=Juice, whose similarly choreography-focused video had racked up views in the past, making the contrast between the two groups’ fortunes a central point of discussion.

Their photo-op shots get lewd comments too, but there are plenty of other comments mixed in so it gets buried.
Honestly, morons like this are part of what makes this whole saga so entertaining lol
Even birds do courtship dances
So this is beneath birds now?
The fact that comments like these show up means the algorithm's pushing it out as an "ero" (sexual-content) video.
and if the agency complains, it can come back.
But if they took it down themselves, that's a yellow card.
And the ones that weren't were just people expressing confusion.
Lol, the non-lewd comments were getting treated like they were being pretentious

If comments like that just keep piling up, someone has to keep watching it around the clock.
Background and Key Points
TikTok is known to automatically hide posts or comment sections it judges to be sexual in nature, and there are reported cases where such takedowns get reversed once the talent agency files a complaint. In this case, opinions in the thread are split on whether the video’s disappearance was due to TikTok’s own AI moderation or a voluntary takedown by the agency, and nothing in the thread definitively settles it either way. The discussion also draws a contrast with Juice=Juice’s “leg-raise dance,” which became popular enough to be featured on NHK, against this ANGERME video’s comment section reportedly being flooded with sexual content — framed as a tale of two groups’ contrasting fortunes. Worth noting, though: all of this comes from secondhand accounts on 5ch, and none of it has been confirmed by primary sources.
