By the way, bicycles aren't supposed to ride through a crosswalk — you're required to walk it while pushing the bike, otherwise it's a violation
If there's a marked bike lane through it, riding is fine

Once a bike shoots into the crosswalk at riding speed, the car can't stop anymore
And if the car really could've stopped, the bike could've stopped too
