The story
Tickets for Hello! Project idol group Angerme’s NHK Osaka Hall show, part of their autumn hall tour, went on general sale — and the fact that ground-floor seats were still selectable on the seat map right from the start became a hot topic on 5ch’s Hello! Project board. The thread noted the venue holds around 1,000 seats for the matinee and about 700 for the evening show, which kicked off comparisons with the venue sizes of other groups like Morning Musume。, OCHA NORMA, and Juice=Juice, with posters disagreeing over which group suits which venue.
What people said
Wait, a whole 6 rows sold?!
Did it just suddenly start selling?
That L15 row from Re: #75 was for the matinee
The evening show is at L9
Evening: 700 seats
WW Hall would be plenty for them
OCHA NORMA is fine with an Osaka live house
Angerme is fine with Osaka WW Hall
Morning Musume。 is right-sized for their current NHK Osaka slot
Even the Orix Theatre isn't big enough for Juice=Juice
I'd rather Musume。 move to the Orix Theatre and cut the number of shows
Though NHK is the nicer venue
Wouldn't Festival Hall work fine?
The seats there are amazing!
that would be completely insane
You're the one who's not sane here
Exactly because it's insane, they WILL add it
You guys are the haters, lol
It literally just went on sale though…
Angerme tickets must be flying off the shelves (sarcastic — Pia is a major ticket-sales site)
eplus and Lawson Ticket connect fine, no stress buying there
It's basically common knowledge among Hello! Project fans that shows handled by every site at once — Pia, eplus, and Lawson Ticket — barely sell, while shows handled by only one site are basically cleared out through the fan-club presale
For Angerme, the Wako show sold out in the first FC presale round so it's only on eplus now, whereas NHK Osaka is being handled by every site, which is why tickets are sitting around unsold
Can you see the seat map for that one too?
You either live as the underdog or jump ship to the winning side
Yet here's an underdog barking at the winning side, accomplishing nothing with all this desperation
Angerme fans have been trash-talking every other group far worse than this for years
And 'empty seats on tour' threads pop up for every group, always have — nothing special about this one
I track every group's numbers daily, and Angerme got right up to the edge of 40k listeners but never actually crossed it
Angerme's about to pass them
They won't break out the copypasta while they still think they're winning the argument
Only deploy it once they've decided they've lost
Guess they're trying pretty hard today then
Called it — the losing-side copypasta spam started right after I posted, lol
The Angerme staff must be seeing some positive signal compared to spring

I wish they'd wear skirts
Honestly, even this outfit would look decent if OCHA NORMA or Juice=Juice wore it
Sure, the costume itself isn't great, but it really comes down to who's wearing it

Background and key points of this discussion
When it comes to ticket sales through Japanese play-guide platforms, shows handled simultaneously by multiple sites — Pia, eplus, Lawson Ticket, and so on — tend to show more visible open seats on the seat map even after general sale opens. Shows that sell out entirely through fan-club presales never go to general sale and end up listed on just one site. So the thread’s take that “handled by multiple sites = unpopular” really just reflects how the seat map happens to look, not actual total attendance or sell-through rates. It’s also worth noting that monthly listener counts on services like Spotify and live-show attendance are separate metrics, so direct comparisons should be made with caution. The back-and-forth in the thread is driven mainly by rivalry between different groups’ fans, and no official sales figures were actually cited — worth keeping in mind while reading.
