    He backed out that fast?
What he lost over it was huge though.

Background and Key Points of This Story

Two separate incidents from different time periods came up in the thread as reasons Ishida got “sidelined”: eating out during the state of emergency in the COVID pandemic, and his 2016 announcement — later withdrawn — that he’d run for Tokyo governor. The show cancellations and penalty fees were mainly tied to the gubernatorial bid, and it’s reported that his wife, Riko Higashio, learned of his candidacy from the news without being consulted beforehand. Opinions in the thread were split over whether he actually had savings and over his choice of Funabashi as a location, with some posters reporting they’d actually seen him at the shop almost every day. The “reason he got sidelined” tends to get boiled down to a single incident, but it’s easy to overlook that it was really the result of multiple scandals piling up.

  • Streamer Daisuke Hori’s Broadcast Tops 100,000 Concurrent Viewers — But ‘Sleeping On Camera’ and ‘Padded Numbers’ Suspicions Swirl

Daisuke Hori’s ongoing endurance livestream became a hot topic after its concurrent viewer count topped 100,000. Comments questioning whether he’d dozed off piled up during the broadcast, with viewers debating “Is he really not sleeping?” and “Isn’t this bot activity — the viewer count swings look unnatural?” On the 5channel thread, reactions ranged from people simply enjoying the suspicions as a running joke, to dedicated haters throwing money at Super Chats just to keep investigating, all wrapped in wry commentary on how the stream’s numbers keep climbing precisely because of that controversy.

During his chat with Takasu he said something like, "On day one(?) I did strength training way more intense than usual, so I'm feeling a lot worse than normal." If it was that much harder than usual, I guess it's understandable if he dozed off…

Watching how the viewer count moves, it's behaving just like the typical bot pattern — suddenly jumping up by thousands or tens of thousands, then dropping by the exact same amount just as suddenly.
    117AnonymousSep 13, 2026 15:41
    Re: #112
Just now it dropped straight from over 30,000 to 20,000.

Background and Key Points of This Topic

Daisuke Hori is known as a self-proclaimed short sleeper who claims to sleep only 30 minutes a day, and long-form endurance livestreams are the backbone of his content. This latest broadcast also posted a huge number, topping 100,000 concurrent viewers, but on platforms like YouTube, displayed concurrent-viewer counts can swing by the thousands or tens of thousands within a short span — and without an explanation from the platform itself, it’s impossible for outsiders to say for certain whether that reflects normal viewer turnover or deliberate manipulation. What split opinion on the thread wasn’t so much whether he really dozed off, but rather which group was ultimately driving the stream’s numbers up: those enjoying the suspicions as a running joke, or the haters throwing Super Chat money at pursuing the truth. Since even donations sent to criticize him still count as revenue, it’s worth noting that criticism and profit tend to become two sides of the same coin — a structural pattern common to this type of endurance livestream.

  • Famous AA Character “Exploding Bettor” Live-Blogs Horse Racing — 5ch’s Catchphrase: “Take It to Go”

On Sunday, September 13, when the Rose Stakes and the St Lite Kinen were run, the famous AA (ASCII-art) character “Exploding Bettor,” Mr. Chudoon, kicked off his regular horse-racing commentary thread on 5ch’s News VIP board. The thread’s signature move: whenever another regular AA character shows up, he brushes them off with his stock line “Take it to go,” all while keeping up a running commentary of his winning bets and his egg sandwich purchases. In Race 9 at Nakayama, his winning reports drew a round of congratulations, while in Race 10 at Hanshin his favorites came in 4th and 5th, narrowly missing a big payout — a day that saw wins and losses tangled together right to the end.

When other regular AA characters show up and get turned away with “Take it to go,” that’s just a fixed running gag that keeps the thread’s camaraderie going — it’s not meant as a fight or a snub. On terminology: a “manbaken” (万馬券) refers to a winning bet that pays out over 10,000 yen, and the reaction to Hanshin Race 10 — “landing 4th and 5th makes it agonizingly close” — points to a heartbreak pattern unique to horse racing, where the horses you picked place well individually but the specific combination still misses. Worth noting: the thread as a whole isn’t promising any surefire betting method or guaranteed outcome — it’s simply a space for live commentary and casual chat. Also, an early post containing sexual content unrelated to the main topic appeared in the thread, but since it has no bearing on the thread’s theme or later developments, it has been left out of this article.

  • Juice=Juice’s Growing Variety Show Presence Sparks Buzz on 5ch

On the Hello! Project board, it became a hot topic that Juice=Juice members are increasingly appearing on variety shows across Japan’s commercial networks. While some in the thread said it felt like “the momentum of Morning Musume’s golden age,” opinions were divided over who is actually cut out for variety TV, with members known by nicknames like “Ishiyama,” “Sakurachi,” and “Endo” all getting debated for their aptitude. Some pointed out that Angerme used to be seen as the group carrying the variety-show torch, making for a thread that captured how these roles shift between groups over time.

Background and Key Points of This Topic

Within Hello! Project, fans often discuss how variety-show roles get divided up among the different groups, and this thread was no exception – comments like “Angerme used to be the variety-show group” show how the leading members and groups have shifted over time. This time, Juice=Juice members are said to be getting more opportunities to appear on such shows, and fan opinion split over who’s best suited to the talk-show format. It’s worth noting, though, that no specific show names or confirmed appearances were given in the thread – this is discussion built on fan hopes and expectations rather than confirmed facts. The thread also leans on members’ nicknames and past location-shoot anecdotes, reflecting the kind of insider context familiar only to longtime fans, which may be hard to follow for first-time readers.

  • 40-Year-Old Man Earning ¥5.5 Million a Year Applies to 100 Women a Month for Arranged Dates — Still Can’t Land a Single Match

An article describing a case handled by a matchmaking agency counselor — a 40-year-old male member earning ¥5.5 million a year who applies for arranged meetings (o-miai) with 100 younger women every month, yet hasn’t landed a single match — went viral on 5channel’s News Speed+ board. Matchmaking-agency o-miai are said to easily screen candidates out based on profile income and education, and the more a man insists on a younger partner, the higher the income bar he’s expected to clear. The thread split between posters pointing out the mismatch between people’s conditions and real-world supply and demand, and others debating whether income or communication skill really determines how easy it is to get married.

What traits do men who go to matchmaking agencies but never manage to get married have in common? Yuko Oya, a counselor at the matchmaking agency she runs, says: “Men who insist on marrying a woman younger than themselves often end up missing their chance to marry. I have one member — a 40-year-old man earning ¥5.5 million a year — who applies for arranged meetings with 100 younger women every month, but still hasn’t managed to set up a single one.”

It's overwhelmingly men, because for most guys the wall of "I don't want young people to think I'm gross" is lower than their willingness to shrug and say "whatever, I've still got a young body."
Women, no matter their age, mostly don't want men to treat them like an old hag — they want to be treated like a princess — so they don't go after younger men (or can't) the way men go after younger women.

For starters, if he's good-looking and still single at 40, there's probably a catch. If neither wants kids, husband-at-¥5.5-million-plus-wife-part-time isn't bad, but if the wife can't work part-time, there's no upside to marrying for either side (especially her).
If she's 39 or under, there's still a shot she wants kids, in which case even with dual income, ¥5.5 million from the husband is thin.

    ****************

Background and Key Points of This Debate

A matchmaking agency’s “o-miai” (arranged meeting) works on a system where both sides review each other’s profile beforehand and decide whether to accept, so candidates are easily screened out on quantifiable criteria like income and education. This article introduced the case of a male member for whom insisting on younger women kept raising the income bar he needed to clear, putting him at an ever-growing disadvantage on paper. Where the thread split was over whether income or communication skill really determines how easy it is to marry — some argued high income wins out even for a poor talker, while others insisted being proactive and good at conversation matters more. Worth noting is that matchmaking-agency matching tends to center on “catalog stats” like income — a quirk of the marriage-hunting market that the original article doesn’t dig into.

*This article is excerpted and summarized from the 5channel (News Speed+) thread “[Marriage Hunting] Four Years Younger Requires ¥10 Million, Eight Years Younger Requires ¥20 Million… The Misguided Assumptions of a 40-Year-Old Man Earning ¥5.5 Million Who Can’t Land a Single Arranged Meeting Despite Applying to 100 People a Month.”

  • “Up-Front Should Create an Actress Division” — Hello! Project Fans Debate the Idea

A thread titled “Up-Front should establish an actress division” went up on 5ch’s Hello! Project board, sparking debate over the second careers of former Hello! Project members. It’s not unusual for members to shift their focus toward acting — stage plays especially — after graduating, and the thread cited cases where the agency threw its full weight behind pushing a member only for it to go nowhere, alongside counterexamples of members who found real acclaim as actresses only after leaving the agency. Some posters argued that current members like Maeda Kokoro, Ebata, and Enaka have real potential as actresses, and info was shared about the upcoming film starring Suzuki Airi, “Sakuya wa Yareta Kamo” (roughly, “Last Night, I Might Have Killed Him”), opening October 23, 2026.

Background and Key Points of the Debate

Up-Front Group is the agency behind Hello! Project, and it has repeatedly tried to push its talent into film, TV drama, and stage work. As the thread notes, there was reportedly a plan for a dedicated acting division back around 2017, with claims that casting decisions were made without even consulting the members involved — a lingering source of distrust toward agency-led casting. Where opinions split was on how to judge “aptitude for acting”: some prioritized actual acting experience and track record, while others leaned on looks and stage presence. Worth noting: an “actress division” isn’t an actual existing program — it’s a fan proposal — and this article’s source material doesn’t give a full picture of the current contract status or activities of the members named.

  • Successful Creators Show Promise From Childhood — 5ch Debates: “Your Instincts Fade After 30”

A thread titled “Successful creators have been succeeding since childhood” has been gaining traction on 5ch’s “Nandemo Jikkyo G” (anything-goes live board). Starting from the premise that only a tiny fraction of creators ever make it big, posters are divided over how talent relates to age. Against the anecdotal claim that “your sensibility declines once you’re past 30,” a string of rebuttals followed, arguing that people are just “covering for lost sensibility with technical skill” and that “even people who look like late bloomers had already accomplished something in their 20s.” The discussion also raised a distinction between the “genius type,” judged purely on their own sensibility, and the “logic type,” who work to meet a client’s requests — turning it into a debate that simple talent-based arguments can’t fully settle.

It's not about being "too late" — age just doesn't matter if you've got talent.
If you're talented, you can still make it starting now. If you're not, it doesn't matter how young you started, it won't help.

    Re: #29
Actually, your creative instincts decline before your stamina does.

Anno and Tsurumaki have both said this before too — once you're past 30, you can never match the instincts you had in your 20s.
Everyone builds their own style by 30, or 35 at the latest, and after that they just keep dressing it up in different forms, papering over the decline with accumulated experience.

The sweet spot, where declining instincts and rising skill balance out, is your late 30s.

    After that, it's just downhill.
I'm past 40 now and I feel it myself.

    Re: #37
It's fine — people who are going to make it will land at least one hit no matter when they start.
Commercial creators have to keep cranking out multiple works until they die, and since each one's expected to top the last, of course ideas run dry, and stamina drops with age (less time for thinking, taking in new input, all of that) — that's just what people are calling "decline."
    40AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:59

There are two types of creators.

The one everyone pictures is the genius type — someone who makes whatever they want purely from their own sensibility, and it just happens to get recognized by everyone else.
    That's your typical "artist."

On the other hand, 99.9% of creators in the world are what you'd call commercial creators — their job is to express a client's vision, bring out something's appeal, or grab people's attention.
This side is actually more about logic than sensibility.
So you can make things just by following that logic, even without being a genius.
Of course, sensibility still matters for judging good vs. bad within that logic, but it's secondary.

Background and Key Points of the Discussion

This type of “talent is determined in childhood” argument often cites remarks from well-known anime directors like Hideaki Anno and Kazuya Tsurumaki, and their names came up in this thread too. However, the claim that “sensibility declines in your 30s” is based on individual creators’ personal impressions, not on any statistics or research. The thread split largely over a difference in framing — whether to talk about creators as monolithic “geniuses,” or as skilled professionals doing client work — and posters taking the latter view pushed back noticeably against the age-based pessimism. It’s also worth noting that since only creators who have actually made it are visible in the first place, it can look like “only people who showed promise young ever succeed,” which is arguably a form of survivorship bias.

  • New Precure Season Sparks Backlash Over “Arcana Favoritism,” Transformation Sequence Also Under Fire

The 18th “anti-thread” for Detective Precure! is still going strong on 5ch’s anime board. The main complaint: lead character “Arcana” keeps getting favored in transformation sequences and team attacks, while the other three members barely get any cooperative screen time. Fans have also reacted to the toy design for the combination item, which pushes buyers toward a “black version” upgrade, and to scenes where characters Ruruka, Shushutan, and Mashutan come across as “rude” or “annoying.” At the same time, some posters argue that “kids will honestly drop a show the moment it gets boring,” while others point to marketing pressure ahead of the upcoming movie release — making this more than just a pile-on.

Background and Key Points of This Discussion

Every year, the Precure franchise ties its transformation items and finishing moves directly to toy sales, and the tendency to prioritize the lead character’s screen time and transformation order has repeatedly drawn criticism across past installments. In this thread too, complaints centered on the fact that the four-member team attack lacks convincing buildup while the story keeps revolving around “Arcana,” and that the transformation sequence’s fixed lineup never changes. At the same time, the view that “kids judge a show’s quality without any deference” is a familiar 5ch line of reasoning that treats toy sales as a proxy for children’s opinions — but it’s worth noting this isn’t backed by actual sales data. Likewise, the like/dislike reactions toward supporting characters are reactions to how they’re written in the script, not evaluations of the voice actors themselves.

  • Medaka and a White Cloud Minnow Crammed Into a Tiny 3-Liter Tank — 5ch: “Basically Keeping Them in a Toilet”

A post on 5ch’s Newsspeed VIP board described how, three days after putting one medaka (a small Japanese rice fish) and one white cloud mountain minnow (a small hardy minnow, called akahire in Japanese) into a tiny 3-liter tank, the water started to smell. The tank doubled as a plastic case normally used for keeping insects, with no filter or aeration installed. White cloud mountain minnows naturally prefer to swim in groups of three or more and are generally said to need at least 10–12 liters even in a small setup, so the thread argued over how much water was actually needed, how much waste the tank could handle, and whether a filter was necessary. In the end, the poster decided to move the fish into a 24-liter tank.

White cloud mountain minnows are schooling fish, so it's recommended to keep 3 or more (5–10 or so if you want to really enjoy watching them school).

    Rough guide to numbers

Minimum: 3 or more is best to prevent fighting and stress and satisfy their schooling instinct.

For a nice display of schooling: 5 or more, ideally around 10, gives you an impressive school to watch.

Guide by tank size: for a small tank (roughly 10–12L of water), around 3–5 fish is a manageable number.

    48AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:39
    Re: #46
They're pretty much the same actually
It's just that white cloud minnows really want to school and need swimming space
    And not knowing that, I put mine in… a 3-liter toilet…
    Dammit!!
    50AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:40
    Wait, no aeration at all?
    Yeah, they're gonna die
    51AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:41
    Re: #50
    Yeah, that's true
    Especially at 3L
    That's basically an unwinnable game
    56AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:45
At 3L with no filter, 2 Minami shrimp (a small freshwater shrimp) is about the max you could push it to
    57AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:46
    Re: #56
    For real
I'm already planning to move them to a 24L tank right now lmaooo
    59AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:50
But the Minami shrimp in my 45cm tank multiplied so much there's already over 100 of them
I've got filtration and aeration, but I just top it off with straight tap water and they're tough as nails
    60AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:51
    Re: #59
That's probably just the filter and aeration making up for it
    62AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:52
    Re: #60
    It's just a bare-minimum hang-on-back filter though
    64AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:53
    Re: #62
    Wait, no plants either?
    Then that's seriously tough
Yeah, I do think freshwater shrimp are hardier than medaka
    63AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:53
Why not just put them in a bigger container
    66AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:54
    Re: #64
I only started with the bare minimum of plants, but they grew like crazy and turned into a jungle
I'm trimming and tossing them out about once every two weeks, that's how much they grow
    67AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:55
    Re: #66
So you do have plants after all
Live plants grow at a ridiculous rate lmaooo
I get the impression mine turn into a jungle by day two already
    Mine's anacharis though
    70AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:57
    Re: #67
Anacharis grows well, but it doesn't do much for water quality…
Hornwort (matsumo) is better for improving water quality, I'd recommend that
    72AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:57
    Re: #70
    Hornwort, huh
That's going in the 24L tank too then
I'll pick some up next time lmaooo
    73AnonymousSep 13, 2026 11:58
    Re: #69
Just get a Suisaku or Rocaboy filter or something, doesn't matter which
Also throwing in some hornwort will change things a lot
    78AnonymousSep 13, 2026 12:02
    Re: #73
Nah, well, I'm graduating from this toilet tank anyway so it doesn't matter anymore
    81AnonymousSep 13, 2026 12:04
Don't just wait for the cloudiness to go away, run a filter
Think about why rivers stay clear while puddles get cloudy
    83AnonymousSep 13, 2026 12:04
    Re: #81
Nah, this cloudiness is just dust from the substrate
It really does clear up if you wait
    82AnonymousSep 13, 2026 12:04
    There's around 20L in there
    84AnonymousSep 13, 2026 12:05
    Re: #82
    No way there is
You think forty 500ml plastic bottles' worth of water fits in that thing?
    85AnonymousSep 13, 2026 12:06
    Re: #84
    It does lmaooo
It's enough that two 8L buckets still don't fill it up
Guess it's hard to tell from the photo
    86AnonymousSep 13, 2026 12:06
Why keep them in a bug-keeping plastic case like that?
    Just buy an actual tank
    89AnonymousSep 13, 2026 12:08
    Re: #86
It doubles as both a bug case and a fish tank
Well, buying a glass tank would be best,
    but it can't be helped

Background and Key Points of This Discussion

In fishkeeping, it’s often said that survival depends less on the raw volume of water than on whether filtration (bacteria breaking down harmful substances) is in place. In this case, the 3-liter tank had neither aeration nor a filter, so without any way to break down waste, water quality can deteriorate rapidly within just a few days. The thread was also split over how much water the tank actually held — the poster claimed it held close to 20 liters, but other commenters raised doubts by converting that to plastic-bottle equivalents. It was also pointed out that white cloud mountain minnows naturally swim in groups rather than alone, making it an easy misconception to assume that keeping “just one” of each fish would be fine simply because the fish count was low.

  • GTA6 Slips to No. 29 on US Amazon Preorder Charts — Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Takes No. 1

A post on 5ch’s hardware industry board (Gehazoku) sparked discussion after noting that GTA6 had slipped to No. 29 on US Amazon’s preorder chart, while the remake of *The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time* claimed the top spot. GTA6 had previously announced changes to how it handles its packaged (disc) edition ahead of launch, and many in the thread pointed to that as a likely factor behind its weak ranking. At the same time, some argued that “Western users actually want physical media more than people assume,” which clashed with the common image of overseas markets as digital-download-first. Since GTA6 also carries high expectations for its PC version, opinions were split on whether the ranking alone can capture its true popularity.

    lol

The disc discontinuation is clearly hurting them big time…
why'd they announce killing the disc version before GTA even launched…
    7AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:27
Looking at the replies to that post, wait — do Western gamers actually prefer physical discs?? I thought it'd be the other way around.
    8AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:27
Surprising… still, Zelda's popularity with overseas kids is something else.
    15AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:30
I get that the original Ocarina of Time was a classic back in the day, but I don't get why this remake is getting this much hype and attention.
Didn't think it'd sell this well.
    32AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:39
    Re: #15
Zelda's profile in Japan changed dramatically after Breath of the Wild.
This Ocarina of Time remake is aimed at that newer crowd, so it looks like the strategy paid off.
And overseas, well, that goes without saying.
    16AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:32
When it comes down to choosing between 30fps and 60fps though……
    17AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:33
An unfinished GTA6 can wait, so of course people are buying Ocarina of Time instead.
    18AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:34
It's less that Ocarina of Time is selling well and more that GTA6 just isn't…

Well, like with GTA5, they'll probably pad the numbers later with a free giveaway lol
    19AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:35
    Re: #18
That's the "Dirt Uncle" guy (an obscure 5ch in-joke nickname).
    21AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:36
Up until recently, tons of Americans were insisting GTA6 had to be a masterpiece even with zero info out…
guess seeing the trailer made them lose hope instead.
    22AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:36
Who's buying a box with nothing but a download code in it?
    Digital download, that's the way.
    24AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:37
Nobody's buying a package that's just got a piece of paper in it.
    27AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:38
This is what happens when people go around trolling that "30fps will blind you."
    28AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:38
Pretty shocking how much the GTA6 defense squad has thinned out.
People are being more even-handed about it than I expected.
    29AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:39
It's obvious the momentum died the moment they killed the disc version.
    30AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:39
Both Zelda and Fire Emblem are way more popular than they used to be. Probably thanks to hits like Breath of the Wild and Three Houses (´・ω・`)
Nintendo knew this, which is why they're counting on it for the year-end sales battle.
    31AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:39
It's just a crappy game where you drive around running from cops anyway.
    33AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:40
Destined to sink right along with PlayStation 😭
    40AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:42
Realistically even GTA fans probably don't want to play the gimped "PlayStation" version on PS5 (a snarky pun on "degraded" + "PlayStation").

The more hardcore the fan, the more likely they're holding out for the PC online version (´・ω・`)
    41AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:44
    Re: #40
    Yeah, fair point
It's not really the kind of game you need to rush to play anyway.
    43AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:44
Normally you'd just play both Ocarina of Time and GTA6, right?
I mean, this is the console-war board after all.
    48AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:45
    Re: #43
Normally Ocarina of Time would take priority
    GTA6's a wait-for-PC situation.
    101AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:58
    Re: #43
Like console-war posters actually play games!
    Nobody here's playing either one.
    61AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:49
Well yeah, hardly anyone's buying a box that just has paper in it.
    65AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:50
    Re: #61
And that flimsy piece of paper is PlayStation's last hope 😭
    64AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:49
Wait, this is about US Amazon?
I thought it was Japan — well, it'd probably look similar there too
This isn't so much Ocarina of Time being high as it is GTA being low, huh?
    67AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:50
    Re: #64
Japan doesn't even get a packaged version.
    71AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:51
Does stuff like this actually happen? ( ゚Д゚)
    87AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:54
    Re: #71
No, in a way it's only natural
Even in an overseas-only matchup, comparing PS5 versions of Zelda and GTA6, Zelda wins hands down

Most of GTA's sales are on PC anyway.
    72AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:51
HD-2D games keep pulling off hit after hit in the 3-million-unit class,
and they're faster and cheaper to make too

Sony's so obsessed with high-end graphics games that they're missing where the industry's actually headed.
    77AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:52
    Re: #72
I heard GTA6's preorders are already something like 5 million, which is nuts.
    73AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:51
    Re: #69
    For real?
Guess I should preorder soon then?
    76AnonymousSep 13, 2026 13:52
    Re: #73
You can't even buy it through official channels anymore.

    Background and Key Points

US Amazon’s best-seller and preorder rankings are tallied before launch, so they don’t necessarily reflect actual sales figures or real-world popularity. GTA6 had already signaled plans to scale back its disc edition ahead of release, which may have hurt its standing given how persistent physical-media demand still is in the North American market. Rockstar titles have also traditionally seen strong demand on PC, meaning console-only rankings don’t fully capture real-world performance. Meanwhile, the *Legend of Zelda* series has seen a major surge in overseas support since *Breath of the Wild*, so it’s not especially surprising that a remake would rank highly too. In the thread, many found it “surprising” that overseas users lean toward physical media, but this may say more about the specifics of this particular ranking than about any broader market trend.
