Suzuki Moa Steals Fall Tour’s Opening Night — Fans Who Saw Her Declare Her Their New Favorite

Background and Key Points of This Discussion

Morning Musume. is known as a group where, every time new members join, their rising popularity becomes visible through tour costume changes and fan calls. The newly added members discussed here, including Suzuki Moa, have only just joined, so the split opinions in the thread reflect a phase where looks and first impressions at the venue tend to get talked about before actual ability does. Note that the original thread contained some comments that outright disparaged certain members’ appearances, so this article was compiled with those posts excluded. Comparing fan popularity and reporting a “new favorite” (oshimashi) are staples of Hello! Project-related threads, but it’s worth keeping in mind that they can easily spiral into baseless superiority arguments.
