The story
Mai Koseki and Chisaki Morito appeared on MBS Radio’s “Young Town Saturday” on the September 5 broadcast. The show reportedly started 30 minutes later than scheduled, and listeners packed into the live-discussion thread. During the broadcast, the topic of whether Koseki actually touched the base during her ceremonial first pitch came up, and a reply saying “apparently she says she touched it” drew a lot of attention. Listeners also chatted about the show’s slot for Hello! Project graduate (“OG”) guests and about how to tell the group’s members apart.

The Yantan OG guest slot is basically associated with golden-era members
Oze-chii's probably just a one-off guest filling a scheduling gap
He's got "Venue" right after this, so he probably won't come
being able to talk with people from the past is a wonderful thing

Background and Discussion Points
“Young Town Saturday” is a long-running live broadcast on Kansai’s MBS Radio that regularly features Hello! Project graduates as guests. In the thread, opinions were split on how to read this guest slot: some see it as “an image centered on golden-era members,” while others speculated this particular appearance was just a one-off booking to fill a scheduling gap. It’s also worth noting that the claim about whether Koseki touched the base during the ceremonial first pitch came from listeners relaying on-air talk secondhand — it wasn’t confirmed directly via video or other footage.
