I can't expect much from Dragon Ball these days, but I've poured so much nostalgia into it (up through Z) that I have no choice but to watch.
I just wish they'd try a little harder — like they did with the Broly movie.
Next season alone has 91 titles.
Come on, anime industry, work together and cut this number down.
Japan's the only country in the world cranking out this insane number of shows every single season.
If everyone just stopped watching — stopped buying the source material, Blu-rays, merch, all of it — the number of titles would drop.
Though the budget per show would shrink too, so we'd end up with even more low-budget productions than we already have.
It's a 4-trillion-yen industry, you know.
Wish they'd do some kind of marathon rebroadcast.
I know TVer ran season 1 twice.
Ranma's actually a Nippon TV late-night show.
The old anime was stuffed with anime-original filler and the character designs drifted way off from the manga, but the remake sticks close to the source and is genuinely good.

Honestly, one or two shows is plenty for me these days.
Diamond no Ace is huge in Asia.
Well, that's basically just because good-looking guys play baseball in it.

There's already an official announcement that the new Lycoris Recoil project is a movie, not a second season.
No wonder their acting never really improves.
Since long-running franchises basically don't get made anymore, it's turned into a gacha game — grab as many low-paying roles as you can while you're cheap and hope one of them hits big.
And with voice actors getting turned into idols now, looks, singing, and talk-show charisma matter more, so I feel like distinctive voices are disappearing.
Why did they even go with that storyline…
