If One Piece disappears, Jump's probably gonna lose to Magazine and Sunday

This genuinely looks like an unbelievably dark age to me, but is it possible I'm just old now and today's middle/high schoolers see this lineup as shining bright?

Things got weird once he started the Celestial Dragons arc — this whole comment section makes you think something happened in his real life

Well, the hostages were the villagers
It's not "First, [we won't take children hostage]" — it's "[First, the children] — we won't take hostage"…
So kids did end up as hostages eventually, just not "starting from" or "only" them (a nitpick over how the original line is parsed)
No wonder we got that bizarre Dragon Ball x One Piece x Toriko crossover
So basically "the god" and his friend cross over what the god liked with their own work…

Well, it's pretty clear who's number two
But if you count by volumes published per year, Hunter x Hunter's at zero
I'd bet the others actually outsell it overall

He's openly said he'll change the story if fans correctly guess what happens next, so he's definitely ego-searching (googling himself)

When there are multiple cases where even that never gets fixed, you really have to wonder what's going on
Point it out, he gets sulky and pissed off, and that's the end of it

Every time I watch that Satomi Ishihara proofreading drama ("Kōetsu Girl," about a magazine copy editor), I picture Oda and the whole show starts feeling unrealistic
