The story
A promo posted by the official X account of TBS’s “Hamada Kayosai” (Hamada Music Festival) just before airtime set off a wave of reactions on 5ch’s Hello!Project board. The show featured Juice=Juice’s Reon Inoue appearing alongside members of SixTONES, and her constantly cheerful expression became the talk of the thread. While some posters gushed, “Never seen Reirei look this happy before,” others reacted with surprise — and half-joking concern — at seeing Inoue, who’s usually surrounded by her groupmates and Hello!Project fans, sharing such close quarters with members of a hugely popular Johnny’s-affiliated group.

It's the reward for enduring all that hardship until now.

He wears it so casually, but that's some seriously insane denim,
huh.
This too is thanks to Hama-chan for deciding to disband it.
Same, lol
Hamaura doesn't even hit 1.
and Hamada unleashes one of his signature kick-tsukkomis (comedic kick-retort).
I don't want to see this
Reirei 😭
Inside the village there's nothing but old Hello!Project-otaku grandpas — which is exactly why it's safe.
but not Reirei.
Guess he adjusts depending on who he's dealing with.
Background and Key Points
“Hamada Kayosai” is a TBS music variety show hosted by Masatoshi Hamada, and one of the few programs where young talent from multiple entertainment agencies appear together. Hello!Project, the agency behind Juice=Juice, has historically placed fairly strict limits on members’ outside activities and social media use — likely the backdrop behind thread comments urging fans to “protect” Reon Inoue. Meanwhile, some unconfirmed rumors about other members’ relationships also showed up in the thread; since these were never verified on the show and remain pure speculation, this article doesn’t address them. Collaborations with Johnny’s (Starto Entertainment) groups aren’t unusual in themselves, but the fact that this pairing involved someone Hello!Project fans rarely see interacting with such talent appears to be what drove the strong reaction.
*This article is excerpted and summarized from the 5ch (Hello!Project board) thread “[Images] Juice=Juice’s Reon Inoue-chan appears with Johnny’s SixTONES members on “Hamada Kayosai (TBS)” and looks like she’s having fun wwwwwwww.”
