No way. All Flauros ever did was knock down a cliff
For all that big-shot buildup, it wasn't even piloted by the final boss or by Guel — some random background character grabbed it, got into a sibling spat, and then it just vanished. End of story.
They never really meant to let Guel shine in the first place.
Looking at Mika and Guel, it's clear Garrod wasn't just lucky to have good adults around him — the fact he can actually listen to other people, see himself objectively, reflect, and grow is huge
I get what you're saying, but Mikazuki and Garrod are actual protagonists, while Guel was a side character from the start — giving him half-baked spotlight is exactly what made things weird…
If they were going to go that far, they should've just let him steal the show outright
First off, pushing the story so hard through Guel's POV was flat-out nuts
If we're talking about Garrod's story, it'd be like the focus suddenly shifting to Enil for three-plus episodes for no reason
And then in the end it just snapped back to treating him as side character #1 again — a lopsided structure
Weirdly, wasn't it too inactive to even land a Super Robot Wars appearance?
But it got built up as a serious threat in the fight with Domon, and it acted like a real leader and held its own against Devil Gundam
Though ngl this one's pretty forgettable too lol
I don't actually dislike Witch from Mercury's mecha designs, but
aren't these two just way too phoned-in? Were they really meant to be such throwaway background units?
Kinda looks like a Gaza-C (a minor Zeon-lineage mobile suit from Zeta Gundam)

They're going for 900 yen on the resale market now
