Hello! Project Opens Pre-Orders for 68-Member Solo Calendar Set — 5ch: ‘Multi-Member Fans Facing Over ¥10,000’

From our other sites

The story

Pre-orders have opened for solo calendars featuring all 68 current members of Hello! Project’s groups — Morning Musume。’27, ANGERME, Juice=Juice, Tsubaki Factory, BEYOOOOONDS, OCHA NORMA, and Rosy Chronicle. Each calendar costs 2,500 yen (tax included) and comes as a set of 12 sheets measuring 200mm x 100mm, with a note that Oda Sakura is not included in the lineup. On 5ch, fans whose favorites (‘oshi’) span multiple groups complained they’d “end up spending over 10,000 yen on calendars alone,” while the thread also buzzed with comparisons to other idols’ merch pricing and comments on just how many members wear glasses.

Nice that these are made-to-order — no worries about them selling out before you get yours.

The agency's gotta already know this stuff regardless of some calendar
8AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:45
What's with how many BEYOOOOONDS and OCHA NORMA members wear glasses?
10AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:46
Fans with multiple oshi are in tears — ending up spending over 10,000 yen on calendars alone lol

Re: #10
I've got an oshi in every group, but there's no way I can spend that much on calendars — narrowing it down to two.
14AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:50
2,500 yen each is actually pretty reasonable
MLINE's calendar ran about 5,000 yen

Re: #14
I think it's overpriced for Hello! Project members' calendars since there's basically no extra production cost
they're just reusing photos from merch photoshoots

Re: #14
Sato's 'Ma-chan' calendar is a B5 desktop size, 26 sheets bound into 52 pages, for 3,850 yen
15AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:50
Lol you get to see every single design before buying
also it's way too small, damn agency's overcharging
18AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:51
Niina should really be the only glasses character around
why does my urge to buy drop when my oshi wears glasses
19AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:51
20AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:52
Glasses should really just be Niina's thing
lately way too many Hello! Project members have been wearing 'passion glasses' (a trendy glasses style some members have adopted)

Re: #20
Buying one of every member comes to 170,000 yen (plus shipping on top if ordering online)

might actually be cheaper than you'd think lol
22AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:52
Is there some god-tier fan out there buying all 68?
23AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:53
Re: #1
Lol OP dutifully posted all 12 months' worth of images for every single member
31AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:58
Re: #23
Just color-copy these and all the calendars are yours!
28AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:57
They put one out under the Hagoromo label a few years back, but that was a one-off
29AnonymousNov 7, 2026 12:57
Re: #24
Even if I bought all 68, I wouldn't have the wall space to hang them lol
35AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:02
Re: #29
That's what you went to the trouble of samefagging (posting under a sock account) to say?
40AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:08
Why isn't Oda's included?!
42AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:10
Guess they're still not doing per-group calendars after all…
Glad I went with the JP Room member calendar instead lol. But since I don't know if this'll be an annual thing, I still want Hello! Project's per-group calendars to come back lol

Re: #42
Group-oshi (fans who support a whole group rather than one member) are already a minority, so they probably won't bother
43AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:11
There's bound to be a mistake somewhere — whoever spots it first wins
46AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:13
It's a calendar that starts in January, but delivery isn't until after Jan 15th? Are they messing with us?
47AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:14
Re: #44
As a group-oshi, I really wish they'd done one specifically for Morning Musume。…
49AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:26
Man, this agency goes all out
not many would take it this far
50AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:26
Something about Hime Rara's is kind of underwhelming too
maybe it's the makeup?
honestly I'd rather they made calendars out of live concert photos than this
52AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:27
A calendar made of live concert photos would be so old-school idol shop lol
55AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:30
20cm x 10cm
a bit bigger than a postcard (15cm x 10cm)
56AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:31
Honestly I don't need a bunch of pages
could they just put out a single A1-size poster instead
I just want my oshi nice and huge
57AnonymousNov 7, 2026 13:32
Except for the July live photo, it's the same outfit the whole way through
and for Nonaka, who wasn't even in that live show, even July is the same outfit

Background and Key Points of Debate

Hello! Project, through its operating agency Up-Front via “Hello Shop,” has continued the practice of selling calendars by individual member rather than by group every year. In the thread, opinions split over whether the 2,500 yen price is cheap or expensive compared to other idols’ solo calendars (typically in the 3,000-5,000 yen range). The view that “it’s overpriced since the photos are just reused merch-shoot data with no extra production cost” coexisted with praise that “being made-to-order is considerate, since there’s no risk of selling out” — the thread alone doesn’t settle which take wins. There was also a period when a combined all-groups calendar was sold, but in recent years individual-member sales have been the norm, with some commenters noting that group-focused (“hako-oshi”) merchandise has become a minority offering. The thread did not clarify why Oda Sakura was excluded from the lineup.
