  • Wakatsuki Chinatsu’s ‘No Phone Case Means Zero Risk Management’ Comment Sparks 5ch Firestorm

Talent Wakatsuki Chinatsu reportedly said on the April 29 broadcast of TV Asahi’s “Wakatsuki Chinatsu’s Noisy Psychology Test” that people who don’t use smartphone cases have “zero risk management ability” and that it “makes her question their sanity.” The remark stemmed from a segment asking, “What’s the thing about men’s phone cases that makes you go ‘hmm’?” where “no case” was one of the options and became the flashpoint. In response, 5ch saw a wave of rebuttals grounded in personal experience — from people who’d gone over a decade without a scratch despite skipping a case, to those who said rugged or foldable phones simply don’t need one. The discussion also branched into case functionality, like heat dissipation and how handy flip-style cases are, so it never settled into a simple for-or-against debate.

Wakatsuki Chinatsu slams people who don’t use phone cases: “Zero risk management ability,” “Makes me question their sanity”

Talent Wakatsuki Chinatsu (42) appeared on TV Asahi’s “Wakatsuki Chinatsu’s Noisy Psychology Test” (airing Wednesdays at 2:20 a.m.) on the 29th, where she showed clear distaste for people who don’t use phone cases.

In the psychology test segment, viewers were asked, “Which type of men’s phone case makes you go ‘hmm’?” with four choices given: “brand-name,” “patterned,” “practical,” and “no case.”

Background and Key Points of This Topic

The remark Wakatsuki Chinatsu made on a psychology-test TV show, reported via Yahoo News, is the starting point for this thread — her blanket claim that “not using a phone case equals zero risk management.” On the thread, the caseless camp fired back with plenty of real-world counterpoints and functional arguments: “I’ve gone over 10 years without a scratch and no case,” “my phone’s rugged, so I don’t need one,” “cases hurt heat dissipation.” The pro-case camp, meanwhile, offered their own preferences, like “flip cases are handy on the train” and “Elecom’s ZEROSHOCK is unbeatable,” so it never boiled down to a simple yes-or-no fight. One thing readers might misread: Wakatsuki’s comment was just one opinion on a variety show, not something backed by any statistical data on actual breakage risk. Likewise, most of the thread’s counterarguments were personal anecdotes along the lines of “mine never broke” — neither side brought objective data to the table. In the end, against her strong claim about “risk management,” what piled up were grounded, practical responses shaped by differing habits, preferences, and use cases.

One Piece ended its main-story broadcast for 2026 with episode 1180, “Elbaf of Despair – The Devil’s Contract: Domi Riversi,” which aired on September 27. This year’s run followed a January–March hiatus, with the Elbaf arc airing for just six months starting in April; the next installment won’t air until 2027. Starting in October, Dragon Ball takes over the same timeslot. On 5ch, discussion spread in all directions — from criticism of the long-running anime’s pacing, to how to read a 2.4% TV rating, to comments on the aging voice cast and the use of AI.

Oda keeps saying he'll never give anyone time-based or water-based powers, then quietly introduces that kind of power anyway. He's also said the One Piece treasure is something tangible — but there's still a chance it ends up being something abstract, like "One Piece = friendship."

Both Dragon Ball's and One Piece's lead voice actors are pretty elderly at this point — are they actually making concrete plans for successors? Mayumi Tanaka isn't as old as Masako Nozawa, but at the current serialization pace, it's doubtful she can keep up a proper voice-acting career all the way until One Piece actually finishes. Even the new Netflix remake — no matter how much faster-paced it is than the TV broadcast version — there's no way it finishes airing in time either.

One Piece never does anime-original filler at all. Before the hiatus, it used to run a recap compilation episode once a month, and it also burned a few minutes at the start of each episode recapping the previous one to stretch out the runtime. With this latest shake-up, both the monthly recap episodes and the previous-episode recaps are gone.

Background and Key Points of This Topic

One Piece resumed its anime adaptation this April with the Elbaf arc, following a January–March hiatus, and wraps up its 2026 broadcast with episode 1180 on September 27. The comments about aging voice actors and AI use reflect the flip side of the source manga passing 900 chapters, with long-term serialization now the norm. The thread split over how much weight to give the TV ratings — one side argued for cancellation based on the 2.4% figure, while the other said it should be judged on overall strength, including streaming and merchandise revenue. There’s also criticism of past padding, like the Katakuri fight, but some pointed out that this latest restructuring cut the recap compilations and previous-episode recaps to pick up the pace — so a simple “it drags on” criticism doesn’t fully capture the current reality. One point readers can easily get wrong: “ending the broadcast for the year” doesn’t mean cancellation or the series wrapping up — it’s simply a hiatus until 2027.

  • Tamagawa Toru: “Medal Count Correlates With Economic Power” — 5ch Fires Back: “National Strength Has Nothing to Do With Medals”

On the 30th, TV Asahi’s “Hatori Shinichi Morning Show” covered the ongoing Asian Games (Aichi/Nagoya), during which commentator Toru Tamagawa remarked on the medal standings by country, saying, “China’s No. 1, Japan’s No. 2… I guess it really does correlate with economic power.” The show also reported that the day before, on the 29th, Komazawa University sophomore Akira Ochiai had won gold in the men’s 800m, Japan’s first in the event in 64 years. The comment drew mixed reactions on 5ch — some pushed back with “medal count has nothing to do with national strength” and “China was already near the top in medals before its economic boom even started,” while others questioned his consistency, pointing out that he’d previously claimed South Korea’s per-capita GDP had overtaken Japan’s.

Isn't this basically saying "well, of course — the winner's the one with the money," which is kind of insulting? Though maybe that's the kind of line that'd actually please a Chinese audience?

Background and Key Points of This Debate

Toru Tamagawa is known for airing his own distinctive opinions on TV Asahi’s information programs, and he has previously claimed that South Korea’s per-capita GDP had overtaken Japan’s. Against that backdrop, his latest remark — that “medal count correlates with economic power” — landed on ground already primed for questions about his consistency as a commentator. It’s not unusual for population or economic scale to be cited as one factor behind medal counts at international competitions, but there are plenty of counterexamples: the Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc nations during the Cold War were sporting powerhouses despite being far from economically prosperous, showing that a simple correlation doesn’t tell the whole story. Because Tamagawa’s comment was made on a general information show rather than a sports program, his unverified “personal opinion” was also free to spread without expert scrutiny — likely fueling some of the backlash. What split opinion in the thread wasn’t so much whether the claim itself was right or wrong, but how much weight people were willing to give a “personal opinion” aired over public airwaves.

*This article excerpts and summarizes the 5ch (Entertainment/Sports Breaking News+) thread “[TV Asahi] Toru Tamagawa shares his opinion on each country’s Asian Games medal count: “China’s No. 1, Japan’s No. 2… I guess it really does correlate with economic power”.”

The 'honeybees' (likely a fan club/management nickname) already have her locked down

Background and Key Points of This Topic

Kono Soara came up through Hello! Project’s trainee system, and the thread brings up the fact that she was once considered a strong candidate for ANGERME, though that never came to pass. Ogata Haruna disbanded the idol group she herself had been producing last month, and in that process launched the new project “FULL HOUSE PROJECT,” which some members of the disbanded group have now joined as well. Opinions in the thread were split mainly over the age gap — some were surprised that 19-year-old Kono and 27-year-old Ogata would be active in the same group, while others countered that Hello! Project itself has precedent for members with wide age gaps coexisting, so it’s nothing especially unusual. As for the fact that her first public appearance is suddenly a major event like TGC Kitakyushu, some posts pointed to shared management/production ties as a possible reason, though no official explanation has been given.

  • Nagoya Elementary Schools Move to Scrap Class Photos — Author Shimako Iwai Asks: ‘All This Caution, and Where Does It Lead?’

Some elementary schools in Nagoya have announced plans to stop taking the group photos traditionally used for graduation albums, stirring controversy. On a TOKYO MX program, author Shimako Iwai questioned this “overly cautious” trend, asking “where does it all end up?” On the 5channel forum, some users voiced concern about photos being misused on social media or by AI, and about victims’ photos being recycled in crime reporting, while others pushed back with complaints like “now even our memories are being taken from us” and “individually shot photos end up far more edited anyway” — the debate spread into a broader argument over whether school events themselves still make sense.

Shimako Iwai on the move to scrap elementary school group photos: “So much caution, so much caution — where does it all end up?”

Author Shimako Iwai appeared live as a weekly commentator on TOKYO MX’s “5-ji ni Muchu!” (Mon–Fri, 5 p.m.), which aired on the 1st.

She shared her views on the stir caused by some Nagoya elementary schools announcing plans to discontinue group photos.

Yeah, this is basically severing individual bonds completely to eventually turn people into obedient soldiers.
Young people's biggest weapon is solidarity, so once you take that away, all that's left is applying pressure.

Weakening labor unions and churning out more corporate drones (shachiku) over these past 30 years has been this country's 'success story.'

    15AnonymousOct 2, 2026 02:24
At my kid's school there were also students signed with talent agencies who were off-limits for photos.
The sample photos posted for ordering had them edited out, but once you actually bought a copy, they were visible just fine.
The ones posted on the school website had them blurred out too.

    33AnonymousOct 2, 2026 02:36

People who lived through the 60s and 70s say the exact same thing, so I guess history just repeats itself.

Background and Key Points of This Topic

Behind the move to scrap group photos lies concern that photos leaked on social media could be edited and misused with AI, as well as the long-standing issue of crime and accident victims’ photos being exposed by the press. In the thread, though, it remained unclear whether this change is limited to ‘some elementary schools’ in Nagoya or part of a nationwide trend, and the discussion expanded into the broader management of school events — from accommodating children signed to talent agencies to whether parents should even be allowed to film events. Some pointed out that individually taken photos are, if anything, more likely to be edited and leaked online, so it’s worth noting that the original article never actually examines whether scrapping group photos alone would meaningfully reduce that risk.

  • “Ramen Shop” Bankruptcies Climb Again, on Pace for a Record High — Multi-Store Chains Hit Hardest

According to data compiled by Teikoku Databank, ramen shop bankruptcies had temporarily declined but have turned upward again, with January-September 2026 on pace for an all-time high. Companies that expanded into multiple locations are said to be struggling especially hard. On 5ch’s “Breaking News+” board, the thread buzzed about how often another shop in the same trade quickly moves into a shuttered restaurant’s space via “ikinuki” (a turnkey takeover of the fixtures and fittings), reactions to ramen bowls topping ¥1,000, and the harsh business climate driven by soaring ingredient costs and utility bills — with opinions split over whether independent shops or multi-store chains are hurting more.

Ramen was originally junk food you could afford with a kid's allowance
In the end shops got too obsessed and poured in needless effort, so sure, it got tastier
But now they just can't move enough volume, so there's no profit left
Places like Ramen Inoue, which used to be in the Tsukiji market, kept it simple with soy sauce and MSG (Ajinomoto)
And people said that was delicious
Honestly, MSG plus hondashi [a packaged dashi stock powder] gives you plenty of umami
Whereas something like a proper ichiban-dashi from traditional Japanese cuisine can actually feel lacking — too clean, missing that rough edge
    181AnonymousOct 1, 2026 15:14
    Re: #89

Something I want to say to ramen lovers: why not just eat instant bagged noodles every day, in the morning?

    Re: #95

    120AnonymousOct 1, 2026 14:33
    Re: #95
Even if it's 5 times worse for you than instant noodles, it's more than 10 times tastier
That's why I don't eat it every day, just a few times a month
And if you try to make real ramen at home from scratch — soup, noodles, all of it — it costs a ridiculous amount
Eating it at a ramen shop is definitely cheaper and tastier than making it yourself, so that's why people go to ramen shops
    202AnonymousOct 1, 2026 15:51
They should just rip open a bag of instant noodles and serve it like they do in Southeast Asia
There's no way the margins would work
    210AnonymousOct 1, 2026 15:56
    Re: #202
If you're given a place to sit, someone else doing the cooking,
disposable chopsticks, a ramen bowl, and water all included,
plus the shop handling cleanup and dishwashing,
then I guess you can't complain even at ¥500 for instant noodles

Background and Key Points of This Topic

Teikoku Databank’s survey tracks ramen shop bankruptcy figures every year, and this time’s “record pace” is a provisional count for January-September 2026. Behind it lies a combination of persistently high costs for ingredients (flour, cooking oil, pork, etc.) and utilities, plus rising labor costs, layered on top of a business model where it’s hard to break through the psychological barrier of a roughly ¥1,000 average check. The thread was split on how to read the rise in bankruptcies: one camp argued that multi-store chains alone ran into cash-flow trouble while independent shops remain stable, while another argued the whole industry has fallen into an oversupplied red ocean. A point readers can easily misread is that a rise in bankruptcy counts doesn’t automatically mean the total number of ramen shops is shrinking — as shown by how often another shop in the same trade quickly moves into a vacated “ikinuki” storefront, new openings remain brisk in what is still a fiercely competitive market.

  • Hideki Arai’s ‘SPUNK’ Gets Movie Adaptation — Directed by Keisuke Yoshida, Opens Fall 2027

Hideki Arai’s manga ‘SPUNK’ is being adapted into a film directed by Keisuke Yoshida, set for release in fall 2027. The original work was co-created with Yumiko Kagami, owner of the real-life legendary S&M salon ‘Eureka,’ and has been serialized in Monthly Comic Beam since 2022. On 5ch’s entertainment/sports news board (Geisoku), though, the thread quickly veered away from the actual content — the word ‘Spunk’ sent posters down memory lane to the 45-year-old dog anime ‘Ohayo Spunk,’ sparking a wave of nostalgia over its theme song and voice cast.

    October 1, 2026

Hideki Arai’s manga ‘SPUNK,’ set in the world of an S&M salon, has been confirmed for a film adaptation directed by Keisuke Yoshida. It will open in fall 2027.

‘SPUNK’ is a collaboration between Hideki Arai, the manga artist known for ‘From Miyamoto to You’ and ‘The World Is Mine,’ and Yumiko Kagami, owner of the real-life legendary S&M salon ‘Eureka.’ It was serialized in Monthly Comic Beam (KADOKAWA) from May 2022 to July 2024 before being collected into volumes. The series built up a fervent following during its run and counts many fans across the film and culture worlds.

    Background and Talking Points

‘Ohayo Spunk’ was a TV anime that aired on TBS in 1981 depicting the bond between a boy and his dog — it shares nothing but the name with Hideki Arai’s S&M manga. Yet most of the thread’s replies latched onto nostalgia for this old anime rather than discussing the new film itself. The exchanges about voice actress Noriko Tsukase’s career, and the mix-ups with ‘Dekirukana’ and ‘Dotera Man’ (which aired on the same network), make for an entertaining read, showing how memories of the show vary by generation. On the other hand, almost no one touched on the S&M elements of the source manga or director Keisuke Yoshida’s style, so how the film adaptation news itself will actually be received remains to be seen.

*This article is excerpted and summarized from the 5ch (Entertainment/Sports News Plus) thread ‘Hideki Arai’s manga ‘SPUNK’ to be made into a film, directed by Keisuke Yoshida, theme is ‘S&M,’ opens fall 2027.’

  • Captain Stabbed, Plane Plunges — Passengers Retake Control; 5ch: ‘Pull the Yoke Back and the Nose Comes Up’

On September 30, a co-pilot stabbed the captain with a knife aboard a flydubai jet (a UAE budget airline), sending the aircraft plunging roughly 4,300 meters from a cruising altitude of about 10,000 meters. Passengers who noticed something was wrong stormed the cockpit and subdued the co-pilot, and an off-duty pilot who happened to be on board took over the controls and made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. On 5ch, discussion centered on the split-second decision of the passenger who pulled back on the control column, the circumstances behind why multiple off-duty pilots are often aboard international flights, and the differences in how various countries’ media covered the story.

On September 30, a flydubai passenger jet from the United Arab Emirates made an emergency landing in northwestern Saudi Arabia while en route from Dubai to Tel Aviv, Israel’s commercial hub. The co-pilot stabbed the captain, and the plane plunged about 4,300 meters. Passengers and crew entered the cockpit and overpowered the co-pilot. So what actually happened on board, at roughly 10,000 meters up?

The incident occurred about two hours and twenty minutes after takeoff. According to the Associated Press, passengers witnessed the co-pilot stab the captain. When passengers rushed in and forced their way into the cockpit, the co-pilot reportedly appeared to be trying to smash the flight controls.

As passengers grappled with the co-pilot, one of them grabbed the control column and pulled it back, mimicking something he’d seen on television. Another crew member then reportedly took over the controls. Flydubai said crew secured the aircraft and “changed course to land the plane safely.”

Reports agree that the stabbed captain was from the UAE,
and the co-pilot who stabbed him and tried to crash the plane was from Oman.
But the one who actually landed the plane at the Saudi airport was an off-duty pilot among the passengers —
so in real life, "Is there a pilot among the passengers?!" → *quietly raises hand* actually happened

    Re: #63
It's not really that kind of coincidence — there were originally two "deadhead" pilots riding along.
Apparently it's to prevent a situation where delays push a crew past their duty-time limit and they can't fly the return leg
    76AnonymousOct 1, 2026 13:18
A passenger on the Dubai-to-Tel Aviv flight described it like this:

"We're currently flying over Saudi Arabia.
One of the crew members attacked the pilot with a knife
    and disabled the plane's systems.
Yaniv (the guy in the photo?) and another passenger stormed the cockpit and subdued the attacker.

Luckily, there were two more pilots on board.
They're the ones who got us down safely."

Well, I mean, sure. On a flight packed with Israelis, the odds of having a trained commando and two extra pilots aboard are already pretty high.
Statistically speaking, the odds of there also being at least one heart surgeon, one psychologist, one lawyer,
and one diamond dealer on board are comfortably above 50% too.

Background and Key Points of This Discussion

International flights have a practice called “deadheading,” where off-duty pilots fly as passengers so that if a crew runs over its duty-time limit, someone is still available to fly the return leg. So the thread’s observation that “a pilot just happened to be on board” isn’t really pure chance — it reflects a system with a built-in, non-trivial probability of exactly that happening. Also, if the aircraft uses a standard fly-by-wire system, it’s designed to automatically correct for excessive inputs even when a layperson pulls the control column — which answers the thread’s question of whether it’s really okay for an amateur to take the controls. On the other hand, the claim that Indian media coverage kept repeating “the captain is amazing” and “India is amazing” while skimping on details of the incident itself comes from the thread secondhand and hasn’t been independently verified here. As for cockpit locking procedures, rules were tightened after the 2015 Germanwings crash, but exactly how passengers were able to get in this time remains only partially explained even in the original source article.

  • Giants Silenced by Hanshin’s Murakami — Bases Loaded, Zero Runs, Fans Cry ‘Curse’

This is a live thread for the October 1, 2026 Giants vs. Hanshin Tigers game at Koshien Stadium. Hanshin starter Shoki Murakami repeatedly let the Giants load the bases — no outs with the bases loaded, then no outs with runners on first and third — but escaped both jams without allowing a run, prompting a mix of awe and frustration in the thread: “Everyone’s really battling up there,” and “Getting shut down by Murakami is just pathetic.” This is already Murakami’s 8th start against the Giants this season, with some posters jokingly suggesting Hanshin manager Kyuji Fujikawa holds a personal “grudge” against the team. Overall, the thread reflected mounting frustration with a Giants lineup that keeps going silent against a sharp opposing pitcher.

And yet — zero runs allowed lol

    Background and Key Points

This game came in the late stages of a tight Central League pennant race as of September 30, with the Giants struggling against the pinpoint control of Hanshin starter Shoki Murakami. Posters in the thread pointed out that this was already Murakami’s 8th start against the Giants this season, highlighting a lopsided head-to-head record. The remark about Hanshin manager Kyuji Fujikawa holding a “grudge against the Giants” is a tongue-in-cheek guess from fans referencing his playing days facing the Giants’ lineup, not a documented real-life feud. The Giants twice advanced runners into scoring position — once with the bases loaded and no outs, once with runners on first and third and no outs — yet failed to score either time, drawing plenty of complaints about the lower order’s lack of support, alongside some praise for the pitching staff that kept the damage off the board. Whether to blame the sluggish lineup or credit the opposing pitching became the thread’s central point of disagreement.

    Re: #27
    Quit talking nonsense.
    Some of us
actually went through hell over this
    it was seriously brutal
    rough stuff.
    29AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:11
Everyone's just ganging up and bullying him.
    35AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:12
    Re: #29
Komewo's the one who did the bullying
poisoning people is a pretty vicious way to bully.
    102AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:17
    Re: #29
More like a terrorist spreading poison.
    37AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:12
Komeo wasn't even at fault to begin with
it's just haters jealous of him making money, blowing a food poisoning case out of proportion
eating something made by an ex-con is apparently enough to brand you an anti by itself.
    192AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:28
    Re: #37
Honestly, no idea what you're even trying to say.
    50AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:13
He'll probably go on Breaking Down (a Japanese amateur fight event) and do some kind of 'atonement match' against someone like Mizoguchi.
    109AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:18
    Re: #50
Nah, for this one it'd have to be a 'crab match'…
    151AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:23
    Re: #50
Yeah, I could actually see that happening.
    159AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:24
Stool testing, hygiene management records —
didn't they do literally none of it?

Not even slacking off exactly, more like
'wait, you're supposed to do that stuff?'
that's probably the level this guy was on.
    189AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:28
    Re: #159
Huh? Isn't food just about tasting good?
    193AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:29
    Re: #159
    HACCP compliance is mandatory now.
You have to log things like
    the daily fridge temperature checks,
and when making food in bulk
you're required to keep sample portions on hand too.
    199AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:30
    The crab ramen specialist
Kaniwo kept running without a single day off
even after the food poisoning incident
so Komewo is probably just closing because customers stopped coming.
    269AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:39
    Re: #199
Wait, so they actually reopened once??
    283AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:41
    Re: #269
That ramen in question was served under the 'Kappo Komewo' name
so the crab ramen shop itself kept running as normal.
    302AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:43
    Re: #269
It was cooked at the kappo restaurant Komewo
and served as chilled crab ramen
so 'Kappo Komewo' is the one that got hit with the business suspension

People online are saying they probably used ingredients from
    the crab ramen specialist Kaniwo
but Kaniwo itself has kept operating normally without a break, even now.
    239AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:36
He opened a restaurant after just reading recipe books in prison
    pretty reckless, disrespectful move.
    261AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:38
    Re: #239
Prison kitchens actually run hygiene management way stricter than regular restaurants
and even then food poisoning rarely happens there too.
    271AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:39
    Re: #261
It's not like the inmates themselves are the ones handling hygiene management, though.
    312AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:45
    Re: #261
Did this guy even actually cook in prison in the first place?
    301AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:43
He can never work in the restaurant industry again.
If he does, it'll definitely cause reputational damage to other businesses in the trade
even just having Komeo as an investor would be nothing but a debuff at this point.
    305AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:43
    Re: #301
Kaniwo seems to still be open for business, though.
    308AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:44
    Re: #305
Whoever wants to go can just go, no?
    333AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:47
    Re: #305
    Don't butt in with that.
Whether he's running a business elsewhere is Komewo's own business.
    345AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:48
By the way, that person from Bird Cafe
disappeared off the radar for a while
and is still running a restaurant today, you know.
    354AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:49
    Re: #345
That one was just skimpy portions, not actual food poisoning, though…
    362AnonymousOct 1, 2026 19:51
    Re: #345
Yeah, that one had this whole vibe of
'don't skimp on osechi, make it yourself'
and people gloating over the 'sparse osechi' fiasco.

Background and Key Points of This Story

“Kappo Komewo” previously caused a food poisoning incident, and this closure announcement appears to follow disciplinary measures such as a business suspension. Hygiene management plan (HACCP) record-keeping has been mandatory for all food businesses in Japan since June 2021, so if the claims raised in the thread — that temperature logs and stool testing records weren’t kept — are true, this wouldn’t be simple bad luck but a genuine failure of the management system itself. Opinions were split over whether this closure represents a withdrawal due to poor business, or an attempt to relaunch under a different name, with speculation spreading despite no clear evidence either way. Some also questioned why the crab ramen shop “Kaniwo,” said to be run by the same operator, has continued operating as usual, but the thread couldn’t confirm just how much equipment or ingredients the two shops actually shared, so no firm conclusion can be drawn.
