  • Seiya Suzuki hits free agency, says family safety tops his list of priorities — 5ch: ‘Chicago’s seriously no good’

Chicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki has become a free agent after his five-year contract expired. Speaking to local reporters, he expressed fondness for the five years he spent in Chicago, but said that when choosing his next team, the top priority is finding “a place where my family can live safely” — revealing concerns particular to a player with young kids. The news set off a 5ch thread buzzing with speculation about where he might sign next, including debates over the safety of specific cities like Chicago and Philadelphia, hopes that he’d join the Dodgers, and disagreements over how to rate his defense.

Suzuki, whose five-year contract has now expired, looked back: “It’s been five years of learning a lot, I’d say. Coming to America for the first time, the first year was really tough. But I’ve really gotten here because of support from my teammates and so many other people. There’s no way I could have done it alone.” Reflecting on the city he called home for five years, he said, “Having been here five years, I’ve grown attached to it — I really think it’s a great city. Of course my family has settled in too, and we really love Chicago. I don’t know if I’ll be leaving or not, it’s hard to say, but I have so many memories here.” Asked what he’d prioritize in choosing his next team, he said, “Somewhere my family can live with peace of mind would be best. I have kids too, and I think that kind of anxiety in your personal life is what hurts your baseball the most, so that’s something I want to weigh heavily in making my decision” — putting his family’s safety as the top priority above all else.

    Background and talking points

Seiya Suzuki signed a five-year deal with the Cubs in the 2022 offseason, and that contract has now expired, making him a free agent. What stood out in his press conference was that, ahead of stats or contract size, he named “somewhere my family can live safely” as his criterion for choosing a new team — and the thread largely revolved around city-by-city safety debates sparked by that comment. While Philadelphia and Detroit were singled out and avoided, posters pushed back on Los Angeles and Chicago, arguing it “depends on the neighborhood” — a point that holds up reasonably well against actual crime statistics, given that U.S. cities can’t be painted with one broad brush. It’s worth noting that mentions of him as a “Gold Glove candidate,” along with defensive ratings and specific hitting metrics, are all individual posters’ personal assessments within the thread, separate from the official postseason awards announced after the season ends. As of the press conference, no front-runner destination had been determined, and the thread’s reactions remain purely speculative.

  • Should Japan Introduce a “Singles Tax”? 5ch Reacts: “A Childless Tax I’d Get, But a Singles Tax Makes No Sense”

A thread about a “singles tax” posted on 5ch’s “Live Report General” board was getting a lot of traction. The original poster opened by declaring that taxing single people “really can’t wait any longer,” but most replies pushed back, saying “there’s no rational reason to tax single people” and “a childless tax I’d get, but a singles tax makes no sense,” with opinion split over whether the tax should apply to all single people or be limited to those without children. Replies pointing out loopholes in the proposed system — such as how it would affect people undergoing fertility treatment, single-parent households, and the elderly — were also prominent.

At the very least, fully subsidize childbirth-related costs
Giving birth requires hospitalization 100% of the time, and while delivery and the operating table are subsidized, related costs like the hospital bed fee are entirely out of pocket

Also, stop making daycare free only from age 3 while charging tens of thousands of yen (depending on income) for kids up to age 2
There are cases where, if the wife can only manage part-time work anyway, it's actually better for her not to work and just raise the kid at home

    Re: #96
If that's the reason, then it should really be a childless tax, not a singles tax

Background and Key Points of This Debate

There is no tax actually named the “singles tax.” The term caught on online because of the child and childcare support levy system that took full effect in April 2026, which is collected as a surcharge on health insurance premiums — meaning the burden falls on single people regardless of whether they have children, which is why it came to be nicknamed a “de facto singles tax.” Where opinion in the thread split was over where to draw the line: taxing all single people versus limiting it to people without children (the so-called “childless tax”), with many posters criticizing a design that fails to account for people undergoing fertility treatment or single-parent households. Whether this would actually help the declining birthrate was never demonstrated, and citing the consumption tax as a precedent, some worried it could become “a foot in the door” for the burden to keep climbing after introduction.

  • Grandpa’s Leftover Model Kits Find No Takers — 5ch: ‘Once You’ve Built It, It’s Worthless’

Over on 5ch’s “Live: Anything Goes” board, a thread blew up over a granddaughter’s dilemma: she’s been left with her late grandfather’s plastic model kit collection and can’t find anyone willing to take it off her hands. The kits are lined up neatly and look impressive at a glance, but posters quickly pointed out that once a model has been assembled, it’s practically worthless on the resale market. Some suggested listing them on Yahoo! Auctions or donating them to a museum, but most agreed that between the hassle of packing and shipping, tossing them out is ultimately the only realistic option — reviving the age-old headache of sorting through a deceased relative’s belongings.

Background and Key Points of the Discussion

As a general rule, plastic model kits only command a premium among collectors while still “unopened and unassembled” — once a kit has been built, it holds almost no resale value in practice. A few vintage kits that meticulously reproduce real-world hardware, like the Zero fighter plane or the battleship Yamato, came up in the thread as exceptions, but those are isolated cases. Some posters suggested listing items on flea-market apps or auction sites, but since finished models are fragile and a hassle to pack and ship, the dominant opinion was that it’s not worth the effort for just a few thousand yen. The discussion split between those who felt disposal should come down to “the family’s feelings” and those who argued it should be decided on “economic rationality” — highlighting a gap, common in sorting out a deceased relative’s belongings, between sentimental value and market value.

*This article is compiled from excerpts and a summary of the 5ch (“Live: Anything Goes” board) thread “Granddaughter: “My dead grandpa left behind model kits… and nobody wants them” — Experts: “Sadly, it’s just trash. Throw it away.”“.

  • timelesz’s Shuto Inomata Dropped by STARTO — Group to Continue as Seven

On September 30, STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, the agency representing Shuto Inomata (25) of the eight-member idol group timelesz, announced it had terminated his exclusive contract over a “serious contractual violation.” The specifics weren’t disclosed, but a rumor that he “hit a woman” spread through 5ch threads, sparking debate over whether it was true. The group is reportedly set to continue as a seven-member act, and the discussion expanded into comparisons with how past scandals involving SMAP and Arashi were handled, as well as the impact on the remaining members.

You really can't tell from an interview alone whether someone's hiding violent tendencies or weird kinks.
If you see someone all the time you might start to notice something's off, but with just neighbors, even after an arrest, the interviews are full of 'he seemed like such a nice guy' comments.

    Background and Points of Debate

timelesz is a group under the lineage of the former Johnny’s Entertainment, and its management company, STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, was renamed and restructured from the old agency following the 2023 sexual abuse scandal involving its founder. This latest announcement likewise stuck to the vague phrase “a serious contractual violation” without disclosing specifics. A rumor that he “hit a woman” spread through the thread, but this isn’t stated anywhere in the source article and remains an unconfirmed assumption. The debate split between the view that past scandals involving SMAP and Arashi were “covered up,” and the perception that this time, unlike in the old Johnny’s era, the agency moved swiftly all the way to contract termination. There were also comments touching on the background and relationships of remaining member Fuma Kikuchi’s father, but it’s worth noting these remain unverified rumors with no confirmed facts.

  • Sasaki Rikako’s Fan Club Event Crowd Sparks Debate — 5ch Asks ‘Why Are There Old Guys Here?’

A thread reporting on the crowd at a fan club event for Sasaki Rikako, a Hello! Project graduate (OG), appeared on 5ch’s Hello! Project board. According to one post, the venue’s capacity was around 78 people, but only about 10 male fans showed up, sparking a split among thread posters over why so few male otaku attended. Some wondered in confusion, “But she’s so cute,” while others pointed out that she spends too long engaging with specific favorite fans, driving casual fans away.

Background and Key Points of This Topic

Sasaki Rikako, a Hello! Project graduate, has continued to hold fan-club-organized events on an irregular basis since leaving the group. It’s worth noting that the figure cited in the thread — “about 10 male fans out of a venue capacity of roughly 78” — comes from an attendee’s visual estimate, not an official number released by the organizers. The debate centered on why male fans were so few, with some arguing it has nothing to do with her looks, while others claimed she spends too much time with specific favorite fans, driving casual fans away. Since venue size and turnout for Hello! Project graduate events vary widely depending on each member’s current activity level, simple numerical comparisons with other members’ events should be made with caution.

  • Table Tennis Star Tomokazu Harimoto Accused of DMing Multiple Female Announcers, Report Sparks Mixed Reactions

Bunshun Online reported that table tennis player Tomokazu Harimoto (23) has been sending direct messages on social media to multiple female TV announcers. Background and Key Points of the Debate

Bunshun Online is a publication that frequently covers scoops about celebrities’ and athletes’ relationships and DM habits, and this article, too, appears to be based on secondhand information rather than direct interviews with Harimoto or his team. The thread split over where to draw the line on reporting private exchanges between two single people — some argued there’s no issue as long as both parties are unmarried, while others saw the act of hitting on someone via DM as inherently sleazy. Some posters also brought up a past incident involving a money-related scandal tied to a table tennis player, but it’s worth noting that was a separate, unrelated event from this report.

    Background and Talking Points

“Our Days for You” is a corner hosted by Marin Fukuda within the variety show “Sugisaku Jitaro’s Funny Night,” broadcast in a format built around reader email submissions and featuring guests. It’s worth noting that the origin of the nickname “Panda” for guest Airi Yamazaki isn’t explained anywhere in the thread — posters simply carried over a nickname already established among Hello! Project fans. Likewise, the topic of Yamazaki not knowing what jingisukan is wasn’t meant as any pointed criticism of her; it spread as lighthearted ribbing sparked by the on-air banter, with no serious critical intent behind it.

    *This article is compiled as an excerpt and summary from the 5ch (Hello! Project board) thread “¡ •Ÿ“c^—Ô ƒQƒXƒg:H ¡ ‚‚΂«ƒtƒ@ƒNƒgƒŠ[ •Ÿ“c^—Ô‚Ì Our Days for You ¡ ‘æ76‰ñ ¡ 20:30 – RNB“ìŠC•ú‘—(¼ŽR 91.7MHz) ¡.”

  • Ex-Hello! Project’s Mizuki Murota in Her Prime — 5ch: “If She Were in Angerme Now, She’d Be Unstoppable”

A thread on 5ch’s Hello! Project board looked back at the in-her-prime performances of former Hello! Project member Mizuki Murota. Citing her prominent vocal parts on her debut single, her synergy with Akari Takeuchi and Rikako Sasaki, and her knack for livening up talk segments, posters lamented her underrated talent with comments like “If she were in Angerme now, she’d be unstoppable” and “She beat Hana Goto in every single ability,” while others debated why she stayed so low-key and never quite broke through.

    1AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:13
Looking back, she had a lot of standout vocal parts right from the start
    2AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:16
Landing that vocal part on the debut single "Taiki Bansei" was huge
That's as big a surprise promotion as Oda getting "HELP ME!!"
    5AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:22
I think she'd be dominating if she were in Angerme now
    6AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:23
She had way more variety-show talent than someone like Goto
    10AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:25
Back on Nama Tamago (a Hello Pro Kenshuusei stage show), trainee-era Danbaran (Ruru Dambara's nickname) once sang Muro's part from "Taiki Bansei" and totally outdid the original
    I remember thinking, "uh-oh, this isn't good"
    11AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:25
Muro's the type who scores above average at literally anything you throw at her
    12AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:25
    Synergy with Sasaki
    Synergy with Takeuchi
She's a "synergy member" — shines when paired with someone she clicks with
    13AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:26
Back in her trainee days she was picked as a backup dancer for "Rarara no Pipipi"
    17AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:28
She's the craftsman type, so her skill never got the credit it deserved
    24AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:30
Matsumoto's version of "Taiki Bansei" is unlistenable
    25AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:30
Even in the current Angerme lineup, she'd probably land somewhere in the middle of the popularity ranking
    26AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:30
She was a model trainee, but I wonder how she was once she actually debuted
    27AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:30
    Charitably: an all-rounder
Uncharitably: just average across the board
    29AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:31
If she'd stayed in the group, she'd probably be deified by now
    31AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:32
In today's Angerme, she'd be the cleanup hitter playing shortstop (i.e., the team's best all-around player)
    32AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:32
Current Angerme is just too rough right now
    I want her back
    34AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:33
She's great at livening up talk segments too — truly all-around talent
    35AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:33
If she couldn't pair up with Takeuchi or Sasaki, her value probably would've dropped too
    36AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:35
The agency probably wanted to make her the ace
But she never really had that one standout quality, so she ended up fading into the background, is the impression I got
    37AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:35
Feels like the gap Muro left was filled by Maopin
    38AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:36
The Makiko Ogawa type, if we're talking Morning Musume
Though personality-wise she was the total opposite — more of a cynical type
    39AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:36
Yeah, I get why she was low-key
    She lacked that certain sparkle
    40AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:37
She's the member who got the "Hello! Project ace" torch passed to her personally by Airi, you know
    41AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:38
My impression is she outclassed Hana Goto in every single ability
    43AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:38
Gives off "the Karin behind the scenes" vibe
back in her trainee days, I mean
    44AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:39
I liked Muro quite a bit, but I was bummed when her juicy part in "Nanakorobi Yaoki" got taken away from her
    45AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:39
Muro's got this kind of sultry, sexy charm to her
    46AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:40
Watching her solo MC moments occasionally at joint concerts these days, you can really tell how much she was influenced by Airi
    47AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:40
She's the type whose every ability ranks upper-middle
    Like Kengo Misaki from Baki
    48AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:40
When she got promoted, it felt like the agency was trying to groom her into the team's ace, but it wasn't long before everyone realized, "nah, it's not her"
    49AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:41
Speaking of "normal," she's the type who'd be popular on the marriage-hunting scene
"Normal" in the sense of being secretly high-spec
    64AnonymousSep 30, 2026 23:04
After Takahashi and Airi, she was expected to be the next Hello! Project ace
    71AnonymousSep 30, 2026 23:29
    Re: #64
So she's part of the "quiet ace" lineage, huh

Background and Key Points of This Topic

Members seen as “ace candidates” within Angerme or Hello! Project who never quite broke out before graduating tend to get revisited like this again and again. In this thread, comments praising her substance — vocal parts, singing ability — sit alongside the view that surface factors like a low-key presence or darker skin tone kept her from connecting with fans. Worth noting: both are just individual posters’ subjective impressions, not arguments backed by hard numbers like CD sales or attendance figures. Comparisons to current members like “Hana Goto” are likewise based purely on fans’ gut feelings, not any official side-by-side assessment of their actual abilities. And as the phrase “quiet ace” suggests, framing a talented-but-overlooked member within that lineage is a familiar go-to narrative among Hello! Project fans.

*This article is composed as an excerpt and summary from the 5ch (Hello! Project) thread “On Mizuki Murota’s performances during her active years.”

  • Miyu Yasuda: “I Want to Stand at Tokyo Dome” — Morning Musume ’26’s Four New Members Share Their Goals

At their first release event, the four new 18th-generation members of Morning Musume。’26 — Ishikawa, Yasuda, Suzuki, and Sugihara — each shared their personal goals. Ishikawa said, “I want to stand on a big stage,” 14-year-old Miyu Yasuda said, “I want to stand at Tokyo Dome,” Suzuki said, “I want to stand at the center of the formation,” and Sugihara said, “I want to see many different sights.” The remarks sparked discussion on 5ch’s Hello! Project board, splitting posters between those who welcomed the members voicing big dreams and those who were skeptical, given that no Hello! Project group has yet pulled off a solo Tokyo Dome concert.

What even counts as a "big stage," though?
Why does she want to stand on a big stage anyway?
    8AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:47
Well, if she's a Nogizaka46 fan, of course she'd want to stand there.
    9AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:47
It's a good thing to say it out loud.
Even Juice=Juice's big sister, the flagship group herself, says the same thing.
    10AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:48
How is someone who calls fans "scenery" supposed to be some kind of model student?
    12AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:49
People who assume "many different sights" means travel or fan-related stuff clearly have zero reading comprehension.
    13AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:49
If it were Juice=Juice, they could actually pull it off, though.
    14AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:50
The current lineup can't show her a view like that.
And that's not changing anytime soon either.
    19AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:53
Sugihara and Ishikawa's goals sound like something a skill-focused member would say.
Yasuda and Suzuki's goals sound like things that'd just be fun for them personally.
    20AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:54
Yasuda's benchmark for success is Nogizaka46.

She's safe — at least she's not running her mouth about wanting to stand at Jingu Stadium.
    23AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:55
She could probably stand at the Dome if it's just some event appearance, no?
    26AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:57
    Re: #23
Standing on someone else's mikoshi (i.e., just guesting on another group's stage) doesn't count.
    24AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:56
Tokyo Dome is for major acts churning out anime theme songs nonstop and mega-popular idols — not for them.
    28AnonymousSep 30, 2026 22:58
With Oda and Makino graduating, who knows if we'll get to see the Rock in Japan Festival or ES CON Field views again, but I'd love for the 18th gen to get a taste of them too.
ES CON might be doable somehow with Aisei-chan, maybe.
    39AnonymousSep 30, 2026 23:02
    Re: #28
ES CON Field's easy — even no-name idols get to play there.

    44AnonymousSep 30, 2026 23:04

    59AnonymousSep 30, 2026 23:24
    Re: #57
Even in that situation, Kawashima still held onto the dream of doing a Dome.

Background and Key Points of This Topic

Morning Musume。has a tradition of newly joined members stating big goals at events, and a fair number of thread posters took that in stride as a positive thing. At the same time, a recurring point in the discussion is the fact that no Hello! Project group has ever pulled off a solo Tokyo Dome concert, with some posters in the thread noting that “not even during the golden era could they do it.” Other members have made similar statements in the past that became talking points, and Yasuda’s remark this time is being read by some as an extension of that pattern. One thing readers may easily misread is that the thread’s reaction wasn’t uniformly mocking — plenty of comments also praised the act of voicing a big dream in the first place.

※This article is compiled and summarized from the 5ch (Hello! Project) thread “Ishikawa: “I want to stand on a big stage” / Yasuda: “I want to stand at Tokyo Dome” / Suzuki: “I want to stand at the center of the formation” / Sugihara: “I want to see many different sights”.”

  • Dragon Quest Walk: 5ch Says ‘One Map Can Max Your Level Out to 95’

On 5ch’s “Nanademo Jikkyo G” (anything-goes live board), a poster who said they’d only been playing the smartphone location-based RPG Dragon Quest Walk for three months started a thread titled “Someone who really knows this game, get in here.” Veteran players jumped in one after another, answering the questions beginners usually get stuck on — how to pick weapons, how to deal real damage to the tough “Mega Monsters,” and what you actually gain from ranking up to the top-tier “Elite Adventurer.” But the thread really took off when talk turned to the “Wandering Map,” said to be the single best spot for grinding levels: its enemies are weak while EXP and Heart Orb points are plentiful, and posters claimed this one map alone was enough to hit the level cap of 95.

    15AnonymousOct 1, 2026 02:08
    Re: #10
You can skip old damage-dealing weapons. Stronger ones will show up soon anyway with the New Year's gacha and the September anniversary gacha. Outside of New Year's and the anniversary, save your gems for when a great support weapon drops — a good support weapon stays useful for two to three years.
    12AnonymousOct 1, 2026 02:05
Chronos and the Banner Spear were both top-tier meta weapons not that long ago.
Well, maybe they'll find a use again somewhere down the line.

    Re: #12
If that's all it's worth, I guess it's fine to skip pulling for it? By the way, I still haven't figured out how to actually use the Gun Blade. I barely scratch Despisaro and it makes me want to scream.

Tough Monster hearts stop being useful pretty fast.

Outside of Mega Monsters, the top-tier shrine bosses, the rare story-mode slot, and the rare Awakening slot,

everything else drops out of your regular rotation.
    19AnonymousOct 1, 2026 02:13
Also, everyone seems to pull off insane damage numbers on Mega Monsters — how are people doing that? Even when I switch to Despisaro's Soul Heart I can't even break 10,000 damage.
    22AnonymousOct 1, 2026 02:16
    Re: #19
You can't pull off that kind of damage unless your weapons, Hearts, Heart Orbs, and level are all built up to a certain point.
    20AnonymousOct 1, 2026 02:13
I wonder if hitting Elite rank actually changes much.
    36AnonymousOct 1, 2026 02:24
    Re: #20
Going Elite makes you noticeably stronger, but it's still rough soloing the top-tier Mega Monsters even then. If you're playing casually, I'd just write off the first year as a grind period and mostly piggyback on other players' Mega Monster fights.
    21AnonymousOct 1, 2026 02:15
OP, if you've really been playing three months you should already know plenty by now.

Even so, at three months in, unless you've been going at it hardcore, you're nowhere near caught up with the front-line players.

    Re: #21
Three months in and there's still tons I don't get. Like today — Metal King (a rare, hard-to-find monster spawn) showed up once and then never again. I checked Mindora and I should be meeting the spawn conditions, but it still won't show back up.

Tough Monster hearts aren't that big a deal honestly.
What really matters in the end are the rare hearts you almost never see, plus Awakening.

For now I'm collecting Despisaro's heart.

Poker was trendy for like one brief moment and then it just disappeared.

    Re: #34
    Wait, there's actual poker-themed gear?

    Re: #34
This game just has way too many minigame modes.
    56AnonymousOct 1, 2026 02:34
For the rare slots, the Hearts I'd especially recommend are Cyclops and Swordoid.
Genie of the Lamp and Troll King are also pretty easy to use.

Go find and farm the maps where these show up as Treasure Monsters.

What exactly is a 'rare slot'?

    Re: #56
I'll start hunting treasure maps for those starting tomorrow.

Winter's coming, so your real-life gear matters too now.
Whoever can walk the longest in the dead of winter wins.

In winter, gloves that let your index finger poke out make things way easier.

I can't handle the cold at all.
Every year I just hole up inside and drink.

Have you gotten the Wandering Map from Atatata in Gifu yet?
This one's the best there is for leveling up.
If you find it, lock it with the 🔑 button right away.

The enemies are pathetically weak, EXP is plentiful, and Heart Orb points are plentiful too.
This single map can get you all the way to the level 95 cap.
    One-shot everything with Zap-type (thunder-elemental) weapons.

    Re: #80
Not sure, but it's probably still there. I'll go check the map list.
    89AnonymousOct 1, 2026 03:01
Found it, but is this the right one?

BTW, I don't have enough gems to buy it.

    Re: #89
    Pretty sure that's the one.
    94AnonymousOct 1, 2026 03:04
    Re: #89
That's the best leveling map there is. Be careful — if you discard it, you can never get it back. The field enemies are so weak you can beat them even way below the recommended level.

That said, you'll need one of the following: the Hero's Sword, Loto's Dragon Sword, the God-Eating Greatsword, or the Thunderclap Sword.

    Re: #89
Lock it so you don't accidentally discard it — there's a button in the top left. That one map alone can max out every vocation. Though it's a grind, like a monk doing ascetic training, lol.
    92AnonymousOct 1, 2026 03:02
    Got enough gems now.
Is this the one I should buy?

    Re: #92
    Yeah, just buy it.

    Bought it. Thanks a ton.

Background and Key Points of This Discussion

Dragon Quest Walk is a smartphone location-based RPG released in 2019, built around actually walking around in real life to gather materials while leveling up weapons and Hearts (equippable monster abilities). Features like Mega Monster battles and the higher “Elite Adventurer” rank have piled up over the game’s long run of service, and for newcomers the sheer volume of accumulated information can itself be a barrier. The thread mostly consisted of veteran players fielding basic questions about things like weapon choice and dealing damage to Mega Monsters, with no major disagreements — though a few replies did question whether the poster, three months in, was really still such a beginner. The highlight was advice on leveling up using the apparently limited-time “Wandering Map,” said to let players reach the level cap of 95 using just that single map. Since the contents and acquisition conditions of maps like this tend to change with each event, it’s worth keeping in mind that how long this thread’s information stays valid is unclear.
