Juice=Juice Packs Nippon Budokan with Record 11,000 Fans — 5ch: ‘This Is Basically Hello! Project’s Flagship Now’

The story

Hello! Project group Juice=Juice held a solo concert at the Nippon Budokan on November 6, 2026, reportedly drawing a group-record 11,000 fans. A new song was performed live for the first time, and the packed venue erupted in a mass chant of “Moreh!” On 5ch, discussion centered on whether the announced attendance figure is close to the real number, and how it stacks up against the scale of past Morning Musume graduation concerts and Yokohama Arena shows — with users trading seat-count calculations and audience photos as evidence.

The “Moré Mi Whirlwind” shows no sign of slowing — Juice=Juice draws a record 11,000 at the Budokan, crowd roars “Moreh!”

They've got Pia Arena MM — why do they insist on using the Budokan every single time?
10AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:37
The phrase "Moré Mi whirlwind" is going to sound like it's their only selling point, so please stop using it as the headline hook.

Re: #10
That kind of IS the only thing they've got, though.

Kunio: "I think they'll announce 11,000 — that includes standing room, and they've put out overflow seats too."
Kunio: "With today's Budokan stage setup, they couldn't fit in any more than that. That's seriously impressive."

Well, I guess they can't be allowed to outdo Oda's graduation concert.
Oda's was 12,000, right?
16AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:38
Even using the full northwest/northeast stands, they'd still need to trim the arena floor a bit more to fit 12,000.
Still, pulling this off on a plain weekday with no graduation and no "final" milestone attached is a real achievement.
17AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:38
That 12,000 figure from some earlier show was fake, wasn't it?
21AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:39
Are they still keeping up this "Momusu > Juice=Juice" pecking order and rounding Momusu's number up to 12,000?
Honestly, that's just dumb.
24AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:39
Wasn't Oda's graduation concert at Yokohama Arena?
At Oda's level, couldn't they pack in something like 13,000?
36AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:42
Re: #24
Full capacity is 13,000, but since they build a center stage in practice, the real limit should be more like 12,000.

Fixed seats 10,835 − north stand 1,460 − northeast/northwest stands 1,000 (1/3) = 8,375 seats
Add the arena floor and standing room: 1,800 people
The real number is around 10,000, but as usual they padded it ("saba yomi") for the official 11,000 announcement.

Kurokki: "I made sure to invite all my friends."

That's fine — way better than doing that weird incremental-number thing they pulled for Ikuta's show.

Re: #30
I saw real stubborn pride in that extra 200 lol
31AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:41
The Juice members don't seem to care about beating other Hello! Pro groups anyway, and since Oda's graduation was at Yokohama Arena, Momusu's still going to win on attendance.
33AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:42
It was clearly bigger than Makino's show, but given the pecking order and the fact that one was a graduation concert, they probably can't announce a number higher than hers.
34AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:42
Wasn't their previous best around 6,000?
38AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:43
Juice=Juice is just too strong, it hurts.
The "Wolf" board (a Hello! Project fan forum nickname), packed with Momusu wota, is holding a funeral today lol
40AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:43
@something
Arena-wise,
compared to graduation concerts and the like,
they're clearly
cutting back the seat count

Center stage is wide

so because of that
it feels like there are more obstructed-view seats

Are they just trying to fake that "sold out" feeling?
43AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:45
Re: #40
Just give it up already lol
46AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:46
A full house ("manpai") at the Budokan is 11,000.
That's an important source, you know.
47AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:46
This is seriously the flagship group now.

Thanks for everything, big sister Momusu.
50AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:47
It's not just Juice — how long are they going to keep feeling satisfied hitting this "achievement" at a mid-size venue with around 10,000 people?
At least this year iLiFE! and Kyurushite already sold out 20,000 seats at K Arena (Yokohama), and even AKB — not sure if they'll fill it, but they're at least going for it???

Re: #65
They've packed the northwest/northeast 1st-floor stands to the max there.
Today's Juice show probably didn't even fill the north side of the 1st floor.
85AnonymousNov 6, 2026 22:00
Re: #65
That one has every northeast/northwest 1st-floor seat filled,
but today's Juice show had the north side of the 1st floor blocked off with black curtains.
81AnonymousNov 6, 2026 21:59
Once you go past 10,000, it really does look packed solid.
121AnonymousNov 6, 2026 22:14
Re: #81
Even just getting to the station takes two or three times as long.
87AnonymousNov 6, 2026 22:02
I think the real number is just a bit over 10,000, but it's impressive that this month alone they'll also draw close to another 20,000 combined at Kanadevia Hall and Pia Arena.
100AnonymousNov 6, 2026 22:06
Re: #87
The four Kanadevia Hall shows alone add up to 10,000,
so it's really 30,000 total.
89AnonymousNov 6, 2026 22:02
Couldn't they have swapped either the Budokan or Pia Arena date for Osaka-jo Hall instead?
105AnonymousNov 6, 2026 22:08
Re: #89
Osaka's a no-go —
it's the kind of venue where day-of tickets would definitely still be available.

Background and Key Points of This Topic

The Nippon Budokan’s capacity tops out at around 11,000 once standing room and overflow seats are added to its 10,835 fixed seats. Within the thread, the main point of debate was whether this figure includes fans seated all the way out in the northeast and northwest stands, since seating configuration shifts show to show depending on the stage layout. In the past, Morning Musume’s graduation concerts have drawn crowds of around 12,000 at Yokohama Arena (capacity over 13,000), but because venue size and counting methods — such as whether standing room and overflow seats are included — differ from show to show even within Hello! Project, straightforward attendance comparisons are difficult. The thread split over whether the announced figure of “11,000” is close to the real number or includes the customary padding (so-called “saba yomi,” or inflating the count), with many users basing their guesses on photos of the seating layout. Separate from the debate over the true attendance figure, many commenters praised the fact that the show drew a crowd this size on an ordinary weekday performance, without the boost of a graduation or “final concert” milestone.
