In a Hello! Project-related thread, word spread that Sato Yuki (aka “Ma-chan”), a former member of Morning Musume ’14, owns three motorcycles. The topic kicked off with an episode where a fan asked her at a meet-and-greet, “What bike do you ride?” The Sato family is known to be wealthy enough to keep a Mercedes S-Class in the garage, and the thread spiraled from guessing which models she owns into a full-blown debate over whether scooters or manual bikes are safer.

At a fan meet-and-greet, someone asked Ma-chan:
"What bike do you ride?"

They've got a Mercedes S-Class sitting in the garage — that family's got money to burn.
6AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:20
Can't believe the agency even approved her riding a motorcycle.

Re: #6
Once you've graduated from Hello! Project, you can pretty much do whatever you want.
7AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:21
One of them's probably a Rebel — the classic beginner's bike.
8AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:21
Could she land some MotoGP-related gig or something?
10AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:23
Scooters are the one thing she should avoid —
they're genuinely dangerous.

Re: #10
Spoken like a true "knee-grip uncle" (old-school slang for riders obsessed with proper cornering form).
34AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:37
Re: #10
Guess you don't know scooters actually give you all kinds of ways to control the bike.
12AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:26
She was the most popular member in Hello! Project — no way she's not raking it in.
15AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:27
A Hunter Cub would suit Sato-chan perfectly.
16AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:27
Obviously she's got a small, light bike for commuting and a big one for long rides on her days off.
18AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:28
Does the Morning Musume lineup really pay that well? Parking three bikes in Tokyo alone must cost a decent chunk of change.
20AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:29
If she's riding, a big bike is the way to go — though honestly, part of me wishes she'd just skip motorcycles altogether.
21AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:30
Kinoko was into motorcycles too, wasn't she.
38AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:41
Re: #21
Oh.
Guess it's all connected.
57AnonymousNov 2, 2026 22:00
Re: #21
You really know your Kinoko trivia.
22AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:31
I thought it was common knowledge the Sato family's loaded — are there suddenly a bunch of newbie fans on Ookami (the idol-fan discussion board) who didn't know?
25AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:33
She's got a boating license too — she really does live in a different world.
27AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:34
If she rode something cool and old-school like a Meguro (a long-discontinued classic Japanese motorcycle brand), that'd be amazing.
30AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:36
I bet she rides around cackling "Ihihihihi!!" (her signature laugh).
33AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:37
Scooters have the lowest accident rate of any motorcycle.
35AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:38
Shifting gears manually is way more fun though.
43AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:45
Re: #35
It's not really that fun. What's better is working the huge floorboard a scooter gives you — where you plant your feet changes both the stability and how it turns. Just lightly press down with the inside foot, on the spot meant for a passenger's foot, and the bike banks on its own and carves hard into the turn. Keep the outside foot stretched forward, rise up on your toes with your knees in a little, and your outside hip lifts while your weight shifts to the inside, so it turns even harder.
Regular motorcycles have fixed footpegs, so they're just not as fun.
37AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:38
Scooters are safer since you brake with delicate finger control instead of stomping a foot pedal — plus they've got ABS too.
39AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:43
Re: #37
Most motorcycles come standard with ABS these days anyway.
40AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:43
Her bikes, apparently:
Z2
CBX400F
RZ350
45AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:46
Sure, her family's rich, but there's also the Sato family motto: "money's a wheel that keeps turning" — spend it and it'll come back around. So they just don't have that instinct to pinch pennies and hoard.
46AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:47
People who are a bit on the edgy/privileged side like that somehow (probably thanks to their parents) end up with money and several cars. Heck, they might even have a vacation home sitting around that they never use.
47AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:47
I bet she hangs off the bike through corners while singing "Kegareta Eiyuu" ("Tainted Hero," a classic motorcycle-racing theme song).
48AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:49
It's probably a bike that transforms into a robot on Ma-chan's command and chain-punches enemies.
49AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:49
Sato Yuki: "That was seriously scary! I messed with the gears, it dropped into low, and boom — wheelie!"
50AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:50
She's also gotten a small craft operator's license and owns a cruiser.
51AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:52
Didn't know she owned a cruiser — I thought Sato got her boating license just for jet-skiing.
52AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:54
I bet she saw Sorimachi riding one in GTO, said she wanted it, and her parents just casually bought her a mint used one.
53AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:54
I kind of want to become a "Nancy uncle" (slang for an overly friendly older male fan) and strike up a conversation with her.
56AnonymousNov 2, 2026 21:58
[Sad News] Sato Yuki: "I'm not allowed to park my bike at the bike lot of my new place — so where am I supposed to put it?"

59AnonymousNov 2, 2026 22:02
She's probably got both a Hunter Cub and a Cross Cub.
61AnonymousNov 2, 2026 22:02
An artist on Ma-chan's level is probably earning way more than her family's money anyway.
62AnonymousNov 2, 2026 22:03
She should get a pilot's license next and buy herself a HondaJet.
Background and Key Points of This Topic
A “fan meet-and-greet” is a one-on-one style event held by Hello! Project, similar to a handshake event, and conversations that happen there often get shared on the thread afterward. The reputation that Sato Yuki’s family is “loaded” has long been established among fans, and topics like the Mercedes in the garage or her getting a boating license have been discussed as extensions of that image. While specific bike models like the Rebel or Hunter Cub came up in the thread, these are purely fan speculation — she herself has never disclosed which models she owns or how she uses them. Also, the side debate over “whether scooters are safer or manual bikes are more fun” drifted off-topic, bringing in the same general motorcycle argument that pops up everywhere else.
