Tsubaki Factory to Perform at Osaka’s “Yoi Don! Fest” — 5ch Reacts: “The Price Is So Low It’s Worrying”

Background and Key Points of This Topic

“Yoi Don!” is a long-running local Kansai information program on the Kantele (Kansai TV) network, and every autumn it holds a free or low-cost fan event tied to the show, “Yoi Don! Fest,” at Ogimachi Park in Osaka. The 1,500 yen advance ticket price is cheap even compared to underground idol shows in the city center, and the surprise in the thread likely stems largely from the event’s positioning as a public broadcast taping and local fan-appreciation gathering rather than a typical ticketed idol show. At the same time, it’s not necessarily standard for Hello! Project-affiliated groups to appear at Kansai TV program events, and some comments in the thread speculated about inter-network dynamics, suggesting “MBS is cozy with Juice=Juice” — but this is just one user’s impression, not a substantiated fact. The co-performing group “PG” is a vocal and dance group made up of elementary and middle schoolers, and the thread also showed some puzzlement over pairing groups with such different age ranges.
