If the schedule were really at risk of missing this year, they wouldn't have announced it back in June in the first place.

The only thing that looks likely to release in the first half of next year is Xeno Gen (presumably a Xenoblade-series title), so surely they'll announce something new.

From Software always holds a Network Test 100 days before release (the last one just wrapped up).
Putting that together, it looks like an early-December launch.
Ocarina of Time would likely land before that, in November (ahead of Black Friday).

Nintendo's whole ideal — basically their commercial — was elementary schoolers bringing their Switch 2s together and going "let's hunt!" with Raiders (echoing Monster Hunter's famous catchphrase), but clearly it hasn't caught on like that, it's not trending, and weekly sales have already leveled off — so what are they going to do?
