Junichi Kawamoto (51), of the comedy duo “Jicho Kacho,” appeared on TV Tokyo’s late-night show “Jikkuri Kiita Rou: Stars’ Secret Updates” on the 23rd. He confirmed that he is dating talent Kiho Isobe (34).
On the show, MC Jun Nagura of “Neptune” pressed him, saying, “Kawamoto, I hear you’re dating a woman who appeared on ‘Jikkuri.’ I saw it online. Why haven’t you said anything?” Kawamoto laughed awkwardly, saying, “It’s fine, it’s fine! This TV Tokyo show is basically the only place you can still catch Kawamoto on terrestrial TV, but where it used to do 'where are they now' style segments, lately it's turned into a plain home-shopping show.
Kind of depressing to think that even names as big as Nagura and Kawamoto have to resort to shopping segments like this.
For reference, this is the same show Hikaru once hyped up as his big comeback to terrestrial TV.
