Kishirika was causing a whole scene at the end of episode 10
and in the episode 11 preview cut, Cliff's covering one eye

Going by how it worked in seasons 1 and 2, the teaser usually includes content from the second cour too, so it's probably the same this time
That's why it's hard to tell exactly where the first cour cuts off
But my guess is the reunion with Eris happens in the back half

Hollywood screenwriting rules actually ban lazy time-leaps like that
since they just confuse the audience
There are other rules too, like not overusing flashbacks
Adding just one more timeline probably wouldn't make much of a difference
We don't even know if the many-worlds interpretation applies here to begin with
