Nah, he's just a member of the "Mitsuru Adachi Theater Troupe" (the fan joke that all of Adachi's characters look and act like the same recurring cast).
His life after that — through college and up to moving to America — got covered as original anime footage. Never aired on TV, though. I think it came out on video.
