Hololive’s Himemori Luna Drops New Song, 5ch Says ‘This Slaps’

Background and Key Points

Himemori Luna is a VTuber signed to Hololive, and the “Puripuri Princess” video shared in the thread was posted from multiple angles as her own original song and dance — including dance-cover clips and the official music video. Hololive has in recent years actively pursued collaborations and music tie-ins with outside content, and the early “mooching off other content” comments in the thread appear to reflect fans’ mixed feelings about this approach. On the topic of singing ability, posters compared Himemori Luna to other talents such as Hoshimachi Suisei, suggesting that opinions on individual members’ vocal skills are a point where fans often disagree. The thread also included some thinly-sourced speculation about cast members’ real ages and comments touching on religious groups and political demonstrations; these have been left out of this article since they risk making unfounded claims about real organizations and individuals.
