Who’s Hololive’s Real “Ace”? 5ch Can’t Agree

Background and Key Points

The “Live Commentary General” board is mainly for running commentary and chit-chat during streams, so a topic like “who is Hololive’s ace” isn’t based on any official announcement — it’s just posters riffing off the top of their heads. Hololive has no official title like “ace” or “representative”; it’s standard for posters to nominate whoever they like based on each group’s popularity, seniority, or character appeal, and this time some pushed for “Mikochi” (a nickname for Sakura Miko), though no clear conclusion was reached. The word “combat” in the thread title is also just the kind of provocative, attention-grabbing phrasing common on commentary boards, with no actual military meaning behind it. The point readers are most likely to misread is treating remarks from threads like this as some kind of “fan consensus” or “official stance” — in reality, it’s nothing more than a handful of posters chatting off the cuff in the moment.
