Wait, isn't that the day before the live show? I want to go before traveling out for it, but the competition for tickets looks insanely fierce… maybe I should pass.

I kind of think this every time, but is there really demand among little girls for a boy character who's weaker than the girls?
Well, playing the support role has basically become the mandatory qualification for being a Precure boyfriend candidate these days.
Precure was originally an anime about girls and otherworldly beings teaming up to save the world,
but even so, the series' unwritten policy is: if a guy falls for a girl, he's not allowed to just stay powerless — if the girl he likes is a Precure, he'd better show some strength of his own.
There are shoujo manga where the male character is the one who gets captured, like Princess Peach — I don't think it really matters either way.

There's a chance the girl figured out "if I say I like Arcana, people fawn over me" and is wearing it on her own.
I get the feeling that's not really her own choice — more like the dad dressed her in Arcana.
Every otaku dad posting their daughter in Precure cosplay on X, without fail, it's Arcana Shadow.
That's just your own assumption.
Going by reactions on X, Éclair seems to come out on top too.

I've actually seen little girls dressed as Mystic and Arcana Shadow, but so far I haven't seen a single Éclair girl.
Probably just regional differences.
Looking at X posts, sometimes there's no Arcana at all and it's all Éclair and Mystic, or other times no Mystic and it's all Éclair and Arcana.
The toys are already being dumped at fire-sale prices, so honestly I don't think it's that popular.
