She shared new photos and spoke in her own words about her current source of income and the possibility of a return to show business, sparking discussion on 5ch’s Entertainment & Sports News+ board. Go film a video with the masked guy — you're into him, right?
3AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:31
I'd rather watch an Osaka night-view channel on YouTube than Peace-kun from Omiya Park anyway.
5AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:33
Scandal-wise, she'll probably go over well with the older-guy crowd.
6AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:34
Well, as for the affair, the suit actor skipped out scot-free, so I feel a little sympathy for her there there.
As for the drinking and the side-job thing? Yeah… that's just dumb.
And honestly, I never cared that much about the Sentai show to begin with, so it's none of my business — pure rubbernecking, lol.

Re: #6
Wasn't it the other way around — Imamori got off clean and only the suit actor got dropped?
7AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:34
Looks like a nice place she's living in — whose house is it, though?
15AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:37
Re: #7
She's still only 20 — if that's not her parents' place, that's a pretty big deal.
8AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:34
The pivot from baiting the haters straight into monetizing is just flawless.
9AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:35
I bet she's got a patron (a 'sugar daddy'). Just look at the room in those photos — no way someone with no income is living there.
11AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:35
The timing's perfect — not too hot, not too cold.
14AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:36
The stage is set perfectly.
Now it's all down to whether she's actually got what it takes.
16AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:37
At this point she's less 'the underage drinking girl' and more the legendary woman who had an affair with the suit actor, threw the whole production into chaos, and basically ended the Sentai franchise itself.
20AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:41
Re: #16
They weren't even prepping a next series anyway, so I don't think that's related.
17AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:38
Honestly, Gavan just turned out to be boring as hell. (a tokusatsu show, apparently brought up as a tangent)
18AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:39
A room that looks this expensive, and she's working at a lounge (a hostess bar)? lol
How much is she even getting paid?
If it's in Tokyo, a place like that has to run over ¥200,000 a month.
And those bottles visible in the background look pricey too, lol
21AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:41
No matter what your position is, as long as you're in Japan you follow Japanese law — that's just basic.
There's no excuse for breaking it.
32AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:51
From her social media posts I figured she was in a dark place, but she actually seems to be living it up — glad to see it.
35AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:53
And she looks so wholesome, too
44AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:59
Re: #35
People whose face looks different on the left and right side have two sides to them — that's what Madame Françoise always said. (likely a reference to a fortune-teller character)
37AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:53
She probably can't go back to a normal job anymore.
41AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:56
Re: #37
That's true of celebrities in general.
Even people way down at the bottom of the industry can make decent money these days off social media tips, live-stream donations, and event merch sales.

She might pick up the occasional part-time shift, but once you're earning real money, working some ¥1,200–1,500/hour job starts to feel pointless.
42AnonymousOct 10, 2026 00:58
So she was actually making enough to save up at this level.
46AnonymousOct 10, 2026 01:00
Once you've shown your face as a celebrity and left a trail online, there's no real benefit or motivation left to go back to normal society at this point.
47AnonymousOct 10, 2026 01:00
Ah, the legendary woman who ended that Sentai series, huh, lol
78AnonymousOct 10, 2026 01:37
Once you've been in entertainment, there's no going back to being a regular office worker.
87AnonymousOct 10, 2026 01:54
Re: #78
That's true for people who made it reasonably big — the pay scale is just different. But at the level of a Sentai actress, working at a lounge is probably an easier gig while she's still young.
84AnonymousOct 10, 2026 01:47
Not addressing the affair at all is giving major Tatsuya Yamaguchi vibes. (a TOKIO member involved in a past scandal)
89AnonymousOct 10, 2026 01:56
Re: #84
If she'd just given a full account of the affair everyone would've felt satisfied, but she's playing all cutesy about it instead, which just leaves a bad taste.

Background and Key Points of This Story

In 2024, it was reported that Maya Imamori had an affair with a suit actor, and in November 2025 it came out that she had been drinking underage, leading to her being dropped from TV Asahi’s Super Sentai series “Number One Sentai Go-Jyuger” and having her contract with her talent agency terminated. While the thread acknowledged the fact that she was actually let go over the underage drinking rather than the affair, many posters pointed out the unfairness in the suit actor involved in the affair facing no publicly announced punishment. On the other hand, regarding her current source of income, although what she described in the video was working at a “lounge” (a hostess-style bar), the thread also saw baseless speculation about “papa katsu” (being financially supported by an older man in a sugar-daddy-style arrangement) or having a patron — her own explanation and the online speculation should be read as separate things. Additionally, the phrase “she ended the Sentai franchise” has spread widely, but this is an exaggerated bit of internet folklore about the impact of her being dropped from the show, and no direct evidence has been given that the series itself was discontinued because of her.
