Re: #5
After that she went freelance, switched agencies a couple times, changed her name to Serina Asahi and then Serina Tsutsumi, and now she's working under the name Shin Serina.

Ending up busted for drugs, of all things…
Turns out this "tokuryu" crowd isn't that impressive after all.

Re: #6
Once a guy gets money and power, all he really does is drink, eat, and chase women.
Maybe torture-murder as a hobby too (like Epstein).
Though they say the real top guys don't touch drugs.
This one's using, so he's probably just small fry.

Re: #13
Kind of like the Kasei Taishu thing (a famous case of two people fighting over rights to the same stage name).
16AnonymousAug 26, 2026 17:55
Wow. So we've reached the era where AV actresses get called "actors" in the news. Using the same word for the underground job and the mainstream one — we've really hit rock bottom.

Re: #16
Maybe she doesn't want the "mainstream" label.
21AnonymousAug 26, 2026 17:57
The set isn't complete until she makes her comeback as "Real Serina."
30AnonymousAug 26, 2026 17:58
Re: #21
It'd have to be written in katakana as "SHIN Serina" for that (like the "Shin" in Shin Godzilla).
24AnonymousAug 26, 2026 17:57
Guess it's the era where AV actresses call themselves "actors" now…
31AnonymousAug 26, 2026 17:59
Meanwhile in Brazil they practically hand out little baggies of coke for free on the beach.
32AnonymousAug 26, 2026 17:59
Wait, the Yamaguchi-gumi was behind this "tokuryu" thing?
35AnonymousAug 26, 2026 18:00
This is making me reconsider my porn-watching hobby a bit.
Gonna lay off it for a while.

This year's buzzword of the year: "Tokuryu" or "Riku-Ryu"? (wordplay — "tokuryu," the term for loosely organized crime groups, sounds like "Riku-Ryu," the nickname for figure skating pair Miura/Kihara)
51AnonymousAug 26, 2026 18:03
Arina Hashimoto rebranding herself as "Shin Arina" is such a headache (another AV actress who did the same name-change trend).

Re: #51
Seriously, that's exactly what I thought too.
56AnonymousAug 26, 2026 18:04
Yakuza, AV, "jab" (probably meant "shabu," slang for meth), tokuryu —
there's no escaping this lineup at this point, so maybe it's for the best she got caught?

Re: #56
lol a boxer snuck into that list somehow
61AnonymousAug 26, 2026 18:06
Nobody even knows this super-obscure AV actress anyway.
62AnonymousAug 26, 2026 18:06
Once you start falling, it happens fast.
65AnonymousAug 26, 2026 18:07
Wasn't she some kind of elite swimming prospect before going into AV?
66AnonymousAug 26, 2026 18:07
She worked so hard to become an actress, and now her parents are probably in tears.
67AnonymousAug 26, 2026 18:07
Isn't the usual term for this "sexy actress" or something?
68AnonymousAug 26, 2026 18:07
Oh, it's not about Riku-Ryu? Boring.

Reality is setting in
139AnonymousAug 26, 2026 18:25
Around the same time, another swimmer debuted in AV too, but that one was the real deal — she was even shown training alongside Rikako Ikee in an NHK documentary.

Re: #139
This one's the real deal too.

Background and Key Points

Japan’s National Police Agency began using the term “tokuryu” (匿流, short for “anonymous and fluid criminal groups”) around 2023 to describe crime networks that recruit members ad hoc through social media and encrypted apps for one-off jobs — scams, robberies, drug deals — rather than through the lifelong hierarchical membership of a traditional yakuza syndicate like the Yamaguchi-gumi. The two categories are officially treated as distinct, which is what makes this case odd: Sugawara is described both as a senior figure in a Kobe Yamaguchi-gumi-linked syndicate and as a “tokuryu” leader, blurring a line police and media have worked hard to draw. No poster in the thread engages with that overlap; they treat “yakuza” and “tokuryu” as interchangeable punchlines, when the more interesting story is that old-guard organized crime appears to be operating through these looser, harder-to-prosecute networks.

The thread’s actual disagreement is narrower than it looks: most posts pile onto the word “actor” being used for an AV performer, and separately mock Sugawara as evidence that “tokuryu” bosses are less formidable than the label implies (one commenter arguing real bosses avoid drugs, so a user is by definition low-ranking). Abe’s repeated stage-name changes are presented as scandalous, but this is standard practice in Japan’s AV industry when performers switch agencies, since names are often owned by the agency rather than the performer, and the 2022 Act on Protection of Adult Video Performers now formally regulates this contractual churn — context the thread never raises.
