The story
To mark “Juice=Juice Day” on October 10, MUSIC ON! TV (CS Channel 325) aired a six-hour special running from 11:00 PM Friday, October 9 through 5:00 AM. The lineup featured a music video retrospective and reruns of past M-ON! original programs, including some of the group’s earliest MVs from right after their debut. On 5ch’s Hello! Project board, the pre-fame footage set off a wave of nostalgic comments like “Ringo still has bangs here” and “Ichika-chan’s got such a round face, lol” — making for a warm thread with no real friction.

Background and Key Points
Juice=Juice is a group that officially debuted in 2013 out of a Hello! Project trainee unit, and October 10 is marked as “Juice=Juice Day,” a date tied to the anniversary of the group’s formation. MUSIC ON! TV is a CS music-specialty channel that regularly airs specials for Hello! Project-affiliated groups, and this time it ran a six-hour block combining an MV special with reruns of past programming. Thread reactions centered on the early MVs from around the group’s debut, with most posts simply expressing nostalgia over how much the members have changed since then — no real disagreement broke out. References like the “potato incident” and being “second cousins” (hatoko) assume context shared among fans that isn’t spelled out in the posts themselves, so this article quotes them as-is rather than presenting them as confirmed fact.
