Same as the Hiroshima Airport localizer antenna incident — the nose gear got damaged when it hit the antenna.

Maybe it was ATC's fault for not calling a runway change ('ranchen' for short)? 🤔
Even so, why didn't they just go around? 🙄
Controllers don't shorten it to 'ranchen.'
A real controller would say 'ramen change' (a jokey nickname pilots use for 'runway change').
Any controller at Kansai or Itami would know that.
Mayday's a popular series, but I don't think they've got enough material stockpiled to fill a whole season with cases like this.
